Warmarama:

Lap around the park.  Gather at bottom of Intimidator.

The Thang:

  • Run up to Carolina.  Mosey down to track.
  • At track:  200m run, 200m recovery, 400m run, 200m recovery, 800m run, 200m recovery.
  • Mosey to Intimidator; run up to Jersey; mosey back to track.
  • Repeato until time.

Announcements:

  • F3/FiA Splash & Dash Day in Yadkinville, August 23rd, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Fs all available, including family-friendly workout.

Prayer Requests:

  • Van Gogh’s family.
  • Lamb Chop’s M as they wait for their baby to arrive.
  • Frost Bite’s brother.

NMM:

  • Good to have Mongoose in town. He’s still fast, though might be slowing down cognitively as he appeared to request us to run up to Jersey instead of Carolina at the start of the first round.  The Nan’tan broke in and rescued the pax from additional pain.
  • Doublewide sprinted up the Intimidator, blowing past YHC and Frostbite while yelling, “Not today, boys! Woooo!”
  • Chomper was being very attentive to his stretching this morning, having tweaked something last Friday. Chomper’s injury pace is still something for YHC to aspire to.
  • Interference was out front all morning, leaving the rest of us in his wake. He did slow down long enough on the recoveries to get caught up on upcoming Ragnar happenings.
    • Whilst YHC and Interference were chatting, Frostbite barged in and complimented YHC by saying, “I feel like this is the same thing we do every time I come to Redline.” YHC:  “You mean, ‘run’?”  Interference:  “Interval runs?”
  • Deep Dish is now a regular and had kind words to the pax for the encouraging reception he’s received at Redline. #F3Works.
  • Hitman is looking trim and floated up the Intimidator.
  • Seeing and interacting with Suede is always a good thing; he’s a great, humble encourager.
  • Palin is looking for new material because, like YHC’s hairline, his old stuff has run thin.
  • No Resistor this morning, no Pinky, no Padre. You regulars were missed.
