There’s a group text out there in the e-world in which a few of us dummies who EC run regularly will share our ideas about upcoming EC opportunities, among other things. Schlitz is one of the participants, so you can only imagine what some of the other things may be… It was on this group text that he shared a brief allusion to the crazy shenanigans of a wedding he was at this past weekend, and Palin suggested a 0500 beerdrink & storytime in lieu of any pre-Conspiracy run. While the motion failed, I’m open to the idea in the future. Unfortunately, YHC missed the first half of the two-lap jaunt around the park due to a 911 call from nature as I was leaving the house, but was able to join for lap two and caught the tail end of what sounded like my nightmare of a social situation. As you can all be assured, Schlitz handled the weekend with grace and poise.

As we returned to the parking lot we found no other pax present, and in the five minutes of respite none joined – thus, the four of us contemplated broga but the Q chose the planned beatdown in the end.

The Thang: Mosey to the playground to find my weinke prominently displayed. Complete the listed exercises then run a lap, stopping every 100m to do 10 Mike Tysons, then repeato on side 2 of the weinke.

*  Overhead step ups: Keep your arms extended directly over your head while doing step ups, double count

** Elevated knee tucks: Hold plank and put your feet on a swing. Bring your knees to your chest and then extend back to plank. Not fun

We completed both sides of the weinke and then chose to do showers a 2nd time before heading back to launch for Mary by committee. We did Freddie Mercs, Penguin Crunches, The Big O, SL Prom Dates, and Alternating Outside Knee Touches With Your Elbows aka AOKTWYEs (needs a better name…might already have one tbh…basically a WWII with a twist).

NMM: As you can imagine the MC was flowing. Just like the way I like my favorite sports teams to score – early and often.  Favorite comment of the day: Schlitz calls for The Big O, Palin says, “In public?” to which Schlitz replies, “Ain’t no other way, brother.” The humidity called for a shirt wring-out contest, which I didn’t win, but my headband was the most saturated of our group. Mostly because nobody else was wearing one. Lastly, the ball of man was intimate and meaty in all the best ways.

Announcements: Happy hour and a half tomorrow at The Tap, right next to Conspiracy. If you look closely from the deck you’ll be able to watch Yukon Cornelius’ soccer practice. The Launchpad returns 5/5.
