Twins and 1355 Years

QIC: Boomerang

Date: 5/30/2020

PAX: Cardiac Arrest, Burlap, High Cotton, Parkay (WB), Splash, Spamalot, Closer, Mongoose, Cheerio, Red Eye, TPS, Blue Steel, DDay, Bulldog, Hoptoberfest, Cobra, Hazer, The Pharaoh aka Root Canal (WD), $5 Footlong, Ziggy, Offsides, Undertow, BAM, Bluto, Starfish, Pony Express, The Singing Cowboy, Schneider, Boomerang.

And the cars kept rolling in and in and in…YHC was a bit nervous when the first count was done, 21, then 23, then Starfish reminded us we still had 1.5 minutes left before the start.  We stopped at 25ish and we were off. The beatdown went something like this.

Warmarama:

SSH, IST, Seal Claps and OH Claps

Mosey to the Lido Deck

10 Right Leg Step Ups, 15 Derkins, 15 Irkins, and 10 Left Leg Step Ups-Repeato

Off to the Rock Quarry where social distancing became a bit tricky, but the PAX did a top notch job of it.

Twin-DORA routine-Each PAX selected their own rock. With a partner complete 100 Skull Crushers, 200 Curls and 300 Bench Presses. While partner 1 does exercise, partner 2 runs directed distance, returns and switches until all exercises are completed and return rocks to pile

Twin DORACIDE routine-With a new partner complete 100 Merkins, 200 Plank Jacks, 300 Monkey Humpers and 400 LBC’s,  While partner 1 does exercise, partner 2 runs directed distance, does 2 Burpees, returns and switches until all exercises are completed.

Most PAX did not know that the twins mom was Mary Wall. So off to find some wall for a combo wall sit/Jack Reacher and Mary finish to the day.  It went something like this, YHC may be off on the Mary exercise…

Wall Sit, 10 Jack Reachers OYO, then 10 Freddie Mercuries IC

Wall Sit, 10 Jack Reachers OYO, then 10 Alabama Prom Dates IC

Wall Sit, 10 Jack Reachers OYO, then 7 Right Side Mutton Crunches IC and 6 Left Side Mutton Crunches IC

And to top it off the PAX learned that Mrs. Wall had at one time dated Mike Tyson, so in honor of that factoid we did 5 Mike Tysons OYO and moseyed back to the start.

The counting and nameorama took so long that YHC feared his phone might die, but an ever prepared Nantan had his at the ready.

Well done by all! While headcount was not quoted until now, the combined number of years by the PAX in attendance was 1355 (1 HHH, 1 HH, 3 H, 10 A, 13 R and 1 RR)!!! Always a pleasure to lead a awesome group of men.

COT:

Prayers for friend of $5 Footlong, in the passing of their infant son. Prayers for our nation and much needed healing.  YHC took us out.

A great day to see so many out and YHC took it as a sign that the PAX is ready to see a continued return to normalcy.  With so many PAX picking up on the chatter was difficult at best, but it appeared that all were catching up well with each other. Sometimes that is all it takes to get to the end of the hour.

I don’t think it was $5’s child but a friend of his.

Great job with a surly and large group! So good to be together, regardless if 300 MH’s is excessive.
