Date: 01/25/2019
PAX: Burlap, Lemming, Peacemaker, Razzie, Palin, Harden, The Singing Cowboy, Redeye, Juicebox, Manscape, Greenspan, Little Piggy, Zuckerberg, Patch, Interference, Balco, Glazer, Cobra, Winklevoss, Wiggles, The Vig, Zima, Mongoose, Hazer, Spamalot, Sac, Dynamite, Walter White, Van Pelt, Sassy

30 PAX showed up between the Tractors and OGs route. It was a bear with a ton of elevation, but everyone survived and only a couple got lost. YHC ran with Harden and The Singing Cowboy and the push from those guys was excellent.

Prayer Requests/Announcements
Palin, and I quote Palin himself: “I had the plumbing checked in my brain Wednesday and everything looked good.” Certainly a praise!

Mongoose is leading the final chapter of Dawgpound as we know it tomorrow!

Van Gogh is leading IS followed by Breakfast and Brews for the Sexual Chocolate release at Footnote, which is right next to Foothills downtown.

Appears Huckleberry has Purgatory if neither Mongoose nor brews interest you.

YHC’s new name must be Richard, based on the nicknames given as others ran by. Appreciate it, gentlemen! YHC forgot about the whole West End goes up and never stops going up thing, it sounds like it even made folks like Zuckerberg walk for a few seconds. Mission complete?!?!

YHC went along at around an 11:00 clip, which was pretty good considering it’s the longest run since the Mistletoe. Definitely good to get the legs moving again. Harden and Whaler have drug YHC back out of the running break with this half marathon in Martinsville at the end of March (3/30). Join us if you’re looking for a race! There is talk of a clown car heading up the day of the race (only 1:15 from W-S). Stay tuned.

Thank you, The Vig, for the keys, and for your hospitality as you ran by YHC going up the hill!

——————————————————————————————————————–

YHC has hijacked control of the city folks’ running routes for this Friday and thought it would be nice to get the routes out nice and early for intense review. There is a method to the madness here…YHC ran the Mistletoe, so there’s a little of that route in here. YHC also ran Richmond, and the finish of this route is straight downhill on Clover to close things out like Richmond finishes. Both routes are the same for nearly the final 3 miles, so tractors and fastholes alike can tag along and run together down the stretch! Looking forward to seeing everyone this Friday!

Aye! My first #OGs in 70 days… and that ‘little’ Seventh St/West End hill snuck up on me. Got to the top… WALKED (for fear of vomiting) a good 20 yards and started chugging again until reached Fifth St.

    Good route @Sassy!

Though tough on the lungs (and legs), it felt good to be back out there!

Well done Sassy! I will say that that I have run down 7th St plenty of times but this morning was my first time running up. You definitely earned your name, Richard. Ran with VP this morning and appreciated the company. You Clemmons boys are welcome to have the keys anytime,….even Ramses.
