So, I don’t go to The Outhouse.  Nothing against the AO or the workout, it just conflicts with Speed Trap and I go there.  You see, I’m a bit routine-oriented and sometimes inflexible, so stepping out and changing things up was different for me.  When Zima reached out and asked me to cover for him, I said “sure”, but mostly because I’m a bit injured and probably shouldn’t be running anyway.  Then, I realized that I had to come up with a workout plan for an AO that I hadn’t been to for quite some time.  I needed a workout that would be tough, bring out lots of complaints, but wouldn’t require much planning by me or running by the Pax.  Enter Cobra, who was nice enough to let me steal his #GrimReaper workout idea and bring it to The Outhouse.  And 13 other jabronis showed up (including one unsuspecting FNG) to share the pain in the gloom.

The Pax LOVED this workout.  No complaining whatsoever.  I did hear some “how many?” comments when looking over the sheets for each station.

 

As promised, not much running at all.  This workout fills the 45 minutes with no problems.  I don’t think many, if any, of us finished today.  Very difficult.

 

Toe Tag brought the FNG today, but he wasn’t a new ED resident fulfilling his F3 posting requirement

 

Spamalot was in my group today, and he got after it.

 

The FNG today is an OB/Gyn physician.  The naming went lots of directions, with Stirrup winning due to being the best combo of relevance and appropriateness.  Other suggestions failed on criteria 2.  Use your imagination.

    Having experienced this once before….did not help. A workout that lives up to its reputation. Strong group today, especially #2 (Mongoose, Bluto, ToeTag) – no room to slack off!

    Mongoose and the Grim Reaper never disappoint. Group 4 with SAS, Redeye and YHC completed all but the last Suicide of station 3. That may the furtherest i have ever gotten through the Reaper, may it rest.

    Good to workout with SAS as i hadnt seen him in a while.

    Rock selection — as always — was important.

    This was my first visit to The Outhouse and it was memorable. I am praying for Mongoose to be healed and not Q a workout I attend again. However, now that it is over, great job Mongoose and thanks for leading. If pain (Fitness) increases my faith and encourages my fellowship, then I am a disciple after this morning.
