Run Herschel, Run at UA

QIC: BAM

Date: 09/08/17

PAX: Wobegon, Mutton, Snap Chat, BAM

Continuing on the theme of UGA vs ND in preparation for the big game tomorrow.  The QIC dropped some knowledge on the pax about the last time the two teams squared off while we worked out.  And just like yesterday, unbeknownst to the pax, they all became UGA fans by participating in the beatdown.

Warmorama was usual fare, but Q was thankful he didn’t have a roaming warmup, because Snap Chat came in on #Spicolitime.

As we moseyed to our first stopping point, Q explained what was about to happen.  We would be rotating through 6 exercises throughout the morning, executing 2 at every stop:

Merkins & low flutters

CDD & Rocky Balboas

Plank Jacks & Sumo Squats

We would do each exercise for 34 reps, (double count for the flutters & fast feet).  34 is in honor of the performance Herschel Walker had in the game.  The obvious reason is 34 was his number.  It’s also the number of carries he had AFTER dislocating his shoulder.

The Q thinks we did each pair of exercises 4 times, and we covered a little over 2.3 miles.  And we might have spelled out UGA with the route.

Go Dawgs!

NMM

Not much, although the pax were pleased when YHC showed them the route after we were done.  The Q was expecting more comments while we were running since there was a lot of back tracking to spell it out properly.  Pax was nice.
