Today, all PAX involved, earned our weekend as we Battled through the Fog. We did so individually but came together at the end to battle as a team. Here is how it went down.

Warmup:
0530: Side straddle hops, whirley with a clap, Michael Phelps.

The thang:
0535 – 0605 – You vs You – 15 reps each – With a coupon

  • Goblet Squats
  • Overhear Press
  • Curls
  • Bent Over Rows
  • Merkins
  • Tricep Extensions
  • Coupon Swings
  • Man Makers (10) – Blockie + Row + Thruster

After round 1 – 50 yard sprint, there and back
After round 2 – 2 50 yard sprints, there and back + there and back
Keep adding 1 there and back sprint per finished round

The kicker – 5-minute EMOM – Murder Bunnies with your coupon 25 yards and rifle carry back.

0605 – 0614 – Team vs Team
Each team carries “The Bitch” (60 pound ruck) and Tonka’s 60 pounds of rocks 50 yards and back

  • Everyone must carry the ruck sack
  • Can communicate help if you need a second person to help
  • If at any point it touches the ground – 5 burpees for that team

When you didn’t have either of the ruck sacks, lunge walking with your team for 50 yards and back

For the team waiting:

  • 20 LBC’s
  • 20 Freddie Mercury’s

0614 – 0615 – The Finisher

nmm

  • The Q (YHC) gets very wordy sometimes (as you can tell by my backblasts) so people get lost in the fluff. Cruiser, mid Man Makers, asked some clarifying questions for YHC. The impressive part here is that the Man Makers weren’t hard enough to bring Cruiser down!
  • Rubber Ducky loves him some Western Front! Perfect leadership to be Site Q. Pumped up the crowd on Wednesday for Western Front, probably did on Thursday and asked me if I wanted “The Bitch” all week. Oh, and he was a man on a mission this morning.
  • Rollback, I think at one point he said “I hate you” to YHC but not sure why because Rollback lead everyone in rounds completed and made today look easy. Must have been those murder bunnies.
  • I didn’t hear much mumble chatter from Zephyr today. I was further away but the silent assassin did what he did best, making something difficult look super easy.
  • Wahoo was also a little further away from where YHC was huffing and puffing but I think he liked Enter Sandman during the last sprint (the finisher). Wahoo is super-fast BTW. Don’t challenge him to a sprinting competition!
  • Draftee ran into the Western Front like a man on a mission. It didn’t stop after the run though. He was a man on a mission throughout the beatdown and still had the energy to run home!
  • You can’t be called Tonka if you aren’t made of steel. That’s it, that’s all. The guy is made of steel, and nothing can bring him down.
  • Nelly and Adobe were chatting away, making the beatdown look like it was a Sunday morning stroll. They were talking about shirts, Adobe’s skills and everything under the sun (well, clouds and fog today). I also learned that Nelly’s daughter’s birthday is February 29th, how cool.
  • Sea-Man and Singing Cowboy knocked out 4+ miles for BBBC so I didn’t get to hear them chatting, but I bet they had a great conversation as they explored Lewisville.

Thank y’all for letting me lead today. Great work!
