It was a beautiful morning to run through my memory lane. Today’s routes passed my old apartment in College Village as well as the corner where I wrecked my bicycle, which then led to me to meet my wife.

Chomper and I mostly ran together (when I could keep up). He got to hear me huff and puff my way through the story of my bike wreck and how that led to meeting my wife at a Cracker Barrel in Kansas. It’s a story for another time.

-GreenNest is tomorrow morning and there’s a rumor that Starfish is providing Chick fil A. (Disclaimer: The previous sentence was the first time he has heard of it)

• Resistor is a big van of the Deep V, whether a white undershirt or his running vest
• I was very grateful that Chomper slowed down for me today so I could run my tempo pace (aka his normal pace). Also, you’ve NEVER heard of The Wallflowers??
• Speaking of The Wallflowers, they are playing at the Ramkat tonight. Come join Beverly and I and party like it’s 1996!
• Lemming claims he needs a 2 minute head start, but I think he’s being modest, he looked strong out there today!
• Woodpecker is an invaluable accountability partner, helping me to make sure I show up for a (or with a) ride every Friday. Remember when you stood me up like 3 times in a row?
• I heard a rumor that Tax Break just ran Chicago in like 2.5 hours. He was back out today and crushed, again!
• Great seeing Airbag out today – first time I’ve posted with him in a while. He joined BooBoo and Crash on the Tractor route.
• Balco and Interference allegedly were there this morning, though they both had to start/leave early. Hate I missed you, though I basically miss you each week when you blow by me.
• Schlitz ran in from DeBeen, ran the whole OG route, and threw up somewhere along the way yet didn’t look any worse for wear at the end. Strong work! Aren’t you training for Mistletoe?
• Palin joined Schlitz (on the OG part, not the vomiting part)
• Grateful for Juicebox and his friendship over the years. Glad to have a space each week where I can share real s*** with someone.
