Warm-Up:
We kicked things off with the usual: SSH x40, Whirly (still) has the clap, Abe Vigodas, arm swirly things, yada yada yada

The Thang:

Mosey to the lower lot to embrace the theme: 40 is the New Stupid. After each round, sprint to the end of the lot and jog back — We did all rounds twice

Round 1:

• 40 Merkins

• 40 Squats

Round 2:

• 40 Curls for the Girls (with rocks)

• 40 Overhead Press (with rocks)

Round 3:

• 40 LBCs

• 40 Flutter Kicks (4-count)

Round 4:

• 40 Bonnie Blairs

• 40 Monkey Humpers
  (Things got weird when Huck stopped by. He quickly left.)

Birthday Finisher – BOMBS
Because what’s a birthday without regrets?
10 reps of each, AMRAP until time (we hit 3 rounds):

• Burpees

• Overhead Press

• Mountain Climbers

• Big Boy Sit-ups

• Squats with rock

Return rocks. Mosey back to launch. No one was racing. And if they were, they kept it quiet.

Mumble Chatter:

• Spicoli busted out full Jazzercise energy during one of the songs one the playlist (I don’t recall which one), complete with shoulder shimmies and vintage enthusiasm.

• The 1985 hits divided the group — some loved it, some just started sweating more, Blind Date had no clue what most of the songs were. He’s still a baby.

• Drama Queen suggested Huey Lewis’ “39 and Holding” should’ve been on the playlist. YHC agrees. Massive oversight.

• Singing Cowboy thought YHC was holding back on the sprints and should run past him. Reality check: Cowboy is fast. YHC is not.

• No playlist is complete without controversy. But if you didn’t feel the beat, you definitely felt the burn.

COT:
Announcements, prayer requests, and some deep breathing. Solid way to close a great morning.

NMM (Naked-Man Moleskin):
Appreciate the PAX showing up and embracing the pain with a smile (or at least a grimace). 40 might be the new stupid, but mornings like this make it all worth it. Thanks for helping YHC celebrate another lap around the sun the best way possible: with sweat, banter, and brotherhood.
