16 Pax gathered for a sunset at the High Life. Unbeknownst to most of the BootCamp insiders F3’s new HateHate Nantan dared to eh an Aye to Q who is normally just a runner and occasionally a WIBber. YHC’s records indicated the last time he led a BootCamp was not quite a decade ago (2/2/2017). It was so far back that F3WS was still public on X (formerly Twitter).
Well the beautiful weather and slightest dusting of NC’s infamous pollen dust made for a nice evening. Here is how it went down.

A mutiny was avoided at the beginning when the Nantan showed up walking with his M through the parking lot. The Pax reassured the Nantan that just because he is Nantan doesn’t mean women may join the Pax.
YHC felt quite comfortable when @Starfish arrived knowing if YHC’s bootcamp Q went off the rails @Starfish would put it back on the tracks #Him
@Rustbucket was actively pushing the pace during each mosey w/@Schlitz on his heels…@Lamb Chop too, but that was to get the exercises so he could do WWII’s to pick up the six.
@Rudolph let it be known from the beginning that letting a runner Q a BootCamp was not wise—he did acquiesce after COT seemed to approve afterward.
@Pax seemed to be disappointed that YHC brought no tunes, yet no Pax was willing to sing
@Frostbite, at the Pax request, shared his F3 naming story during lunges
@Schlitz likes to run fast @Hedwig too — Redline on Tuesdays would be a great spot to keep those wheels spinning
@Starfish said what others were thinking that YHC was a rookie by letting @Lamb Chop insist on the WWIIs for the six and Mary- duly noted and guilty…will be wiser next time
@Mongoose didn’t show for a workout in his neighborhood though he did influence YHC at Redline this morning to provide some beers for the Pax…there you go Mongoose you made it into the High Life backblast—went with Southern Tier instead of the Stella.
Naming
Former FNG Michael K was eh’d by Hedwig. He ventured to the Dash from the West Coast (CA). He is in the medical field, but Hedwig took our attention to his favorite holiday Halloween. Thus he was named Boo.
Former FNG PJ M was eh’d by Hedwig. He ventured to the Dash from the Northeast (CT). He is in the medical field too and for some reason, the Pax stuck to holiday themes. Thus he was named Krampus.
Former FNG Andrew R. was eh’d by Rudolph. He is an original Dasher and is a Mt. Tabor Spartan grad and UNCW Seahawk grad. The seahawk theme is what led to the Flipper naming.
Former FNG Sam W. was eh’d by Frostbite. He ventured to the Dash from the Southwest (New Mexico). The Pax toyed with multiple names from Breaking Bad and Tuco was mentioned, but it was already taken. Eventually the Pax landed on Heisenberg.
The Pax ended with a COT reminding ourselves of the F3 Core Principles – free of charge, open to all men, outdoors, peer led, and ends with COT. No other RULES!
Several prayers were mentioned…Starfish’s uncle is not doing well. I think COPD. Rudolph mentioned prayers for Flipper and his M without specific details. Ziggy Stardust – mom passed. Many Pax are dealing with caring for their aging parents.
YHC took us out in prayer and then hung out for some beers.
SCHLITZ is on deck next week and he seemed to imply drinks would be available afterwards.
