Lazy Diego at Distillery

QIC: Adobe

Date: 2-15-24

PAX: Bruin, Cruiser, Drano, Madoff, Uturn, Adobe (Q)

A little late on posting this, but better late than never, right?

Twas a dark morning in the Gloom @ Distillery.

I had promised a good beatdown for the site Q, one sure to knock off all the extra calories from Valentines Day. All the candy, steak dinner, desserts, red wine….These guys were going to regret that this morning. 😉

But, it came with a little twist.

Warm-O-RAMA:

Mission Statement, 5 C P….check.

Warm up were the usual suspects. And seeing as I am posting this nearly a week later, I honestly can’t remember. I didn’t write it down…..and thus, just like Madoff, ” Poof…it’s gone”.

The THANG:

There was a little mash up from the Exicon in play here, as well as an attempt to lull the PAX into a false sense of security.

We called this one…….

Lazy Diego

Lazy Diego (Dora the explorer’s lazy cousin) – Similar to Dora 1, 2, 3 but just tougher..Here’s the catch…no running, and a special surprise edit added by Adobe.

100 – Merkins ( 10 ) while P2 Holds Plank , Flapjack

150 – Overhead press w/ block ( 15 ) while P2 Performs BusDrivers , Flapjack

200 – LBC ( 20 ) while P2 Holds 6” Leg Lift , Flapjack

250 – Block Curls ( 25 ) while P2 Performs Jack Reachers , Flapjack

300 – Squats w.Block ( 30 ) while P2 Holds Al Gore , Flapjack

The main goal was no running here….period, but with the partner work and the extra routine for the alternating PAX made it a challenge. Obviously, there was a lot of groaning… ” Can’t we just run instead?”, I think I heard. But the Q wasn’t having any of it.

We finished and returned our blocks.

Over to the picnic tables for a little dip work. Did the usual suspects here too….all IC.

TIME:

COT:

YHC took us out.

NMM:

Again gentlemen, Cobains for not posting this sooner.
Thank you for the opportunity to lead.

Great work by all this morning.

UTurn was running, but he was with us in spirit and made it back in time for some lite table work.
