Best. AO. Ever.

QIC: Wobegon

Date: 9-1-2022

PAX: Cherry Pie, Greenspan, Crash, Bob Ross, Mutton, Wobegon

Lets’s get this out of the way: YHC LOVES Reynolda Village/former Estate AO. Loves it. Sure, some of that is the easy RIRO, but let’s be real? Can we be real? It’s arguably the best AO we’ve had. And particularly suited to WIB. Stop me if I’m wrong. Anyway. It went like this on 9-1:

Stations 1-3: 9 reps first time, then add 1 each time. (9-1, get it? You see it, right? Moving on.)

Station 1: Parking Lot half way around.

  1. Merkins
  2. LBCs
  3. Squats
  4. Penguins
  5. Reverse Lunges

Station 2: Circle by the Trailhead

  1. Mountain Climbers
  2. Heels To Heaven
  3. Lunges
  4. Alt Shoulder Taps
  5. Freddy Mercs

Station 3: Lower Lot by Start

  1. Sprint to the end of the lot. Burpee. Mosey back. Do this 5 times.

Standard Warm-o-rama. Got in three loops, I believe. That last station was appreciated.

Everyone GOT. AFTER. IT. Quiet group all around. On our last round at Station 3, things got a little out of control. Cars flying in left and right, Bob Ross took off and left us in the dust, Cherry Pie and Greenspace were just racing each other back and forth. Crash was off to the side suddenly talking to his wife at her car…Mutton and I just kept grinding. We finished just on time with everyone completing the round and CP and Greenie adding in what I think was about 10 extra sprints?

COT:

Prayer for Mutton’s brother-in-law and challenging medical situation.

Check the 3rd F channel for a poll from Transcript on launching new GAS groups: great chance to get into a small group and form some meaningful connections. Do it.

Thanks to Dr. Toot for the chance to lead.
