After the embarrassing event that happened earlier in the week ( a certain Q, who shall remain nameless, was late to his own Q ), YHC had to redeem himself. And wouldn’t you know it, he totally did…arriving a whole three minutes early!

Off to the races…

Warm-O-Rama:

I saw a tweet from @darkhelmetF3 earlier in the week and I thought it was a fitting way to start the morning.

” It all starts here. Without a #Mission a man’s life will descend into ruin. He will not be able to embrace and direct Chaos the #Advantage, it will simply consume him and he will be overrun.”

So with that, Mission Statement and 5 Core Principles were stated.

Started with a little SSH, Whirly w. Clap, Abe Vagoda, Windmills, Arm Swirly F&B, and then I broke it out again….Lobstaah Roll. ( Hold plank for 10 seconds, then rotate 90 degrees. Hold plank 10 seconds and rotate again. Continue doing this until you reach the starting position, then flop over and do 20 LBC’s OYO.) Tell your friends.

The THANG:

We moseyed to the back side of Alcatraz ( thank you @Crash for offering to carry my new Amazon Prime Day, 80’s style Ghetto Blaster. ) Upon reaching the block yard, the PAX were wondering about the random scribbles on my very ” non-Adobe looking” weinke. I mean, these look legit, right?

I then told the story about how I came up with this beatdown. Like most normal middle aged men, I was scrolling Chris Hemsworth’s Instagram one day and he issued a “challenge” of sorts. So this being F3, I couldn’t just copy the exact workout. I decided to spice it up a little bit. And that’s how (( THOR’s Kitchen Sink REVENGE )) was born.

Goal was 10 rounds \ 4 stations each.

Station 1: 10 Curls, 10 O.H. Press, 10 Skull Crushers, 10 Squats w. Block, 10 Lunges ( double count ), 10 Bent Over Rows, 10 Standing Twists. — Move to Station 2.

Station 2: Murder Bunny across gravel lot until we reached the Semi Trailer, then John Cusack back to the Pull Up Bars. —

Station 3: At the pull up bars, do 10 Leg Tucks.

Station 4: From the pull up bars, Run 1 lap through the Woods section of the Disc Golf course. — Start back over at station 1.

 

Not sure how many rounds everyone got in, but I know YHC was about dead as time drew to a close. 6 minutes remaining, we put the blocks back and moseyed back to the front parking lot for Mary. @Rudolph wanted to finish his last lap, ( BeastMode ), but we had to get back for Mary and COT.

Mary:

20 Plank Jacks, 20 Freddy Mercs, 20 Penguin Crunches, 20 Mutton Crunches L&R. TIME.

COT:

Gentlemen, this one was fun!
Always love Q’ing where it all started for YHC ( next month will be a year in ).

This workout had a little something for everyone….( including the Kitchen Sink ). You men crushed it. I didn’t hear a single complaint about the Murder Bunnies. Of course, the music was pretty loud and my ears aren’t what they used to be.
