9 pax gathered (and one joined after a run) for a Huckleberry Parliament.  After Qing the Phoenix yesterday, i was sore when planning the Q for today.  so i sent out a message on Slack that we would work on sitting.  So that is exactly what we did. YHC also put an HC on Flatline this morning….Qing Parliament means I can not go to Flatline. Slack has a burpee penalty for anyone that does not show up for a HC.  so immediately before the start of the workout, i graciously asked slackbot what the penalty was (since all the pax would be punished for my mistake).  27 was the number.

0530 – Mission statement.

Warm 0 rama – SSH x 20, IW x 15, Abe V x 10, Toy solider x 10

mosey to blocks and carry them to the picnic tables/benches.

Thing – All IC x 10 reps, all while holding block up

hold block on shoulders behind head – sit down on bench, pick up feet, put feet down, then stand up – one rep (The Squatty Potty)

line up – walk and carry block over your head to the wall.  if anyone lets it down to rest at all, we all do 3 burpees and immediately pick block back up.

wall work – wall sit with block – start with jack reachers x 10 at the end, hold wall sit till everyone is done.

pax did 100 squatty potty’s!!! – these get really old really fast

we have concerns about Fenders ability to count to 10.  during the wall sit, the counting, well, it was not good for the rest of us

we completed the burpee penalty – all debts are paid.  and after reading the Flatline backblast, i am glad i did not go – brutal workout Greenspan

Zima insisted on the “Big Boy Block” only to complain about the rest of the morning.

Great push by all!  we spent alot of the morning either in a wall sit or getting up from a kids bench with a block on our back.

Thanks for the keys Ziggy – i left them in the middle of the parking lot with a sign saying “take me” so the next Q can find them.
