YHC was prepping for a Wobegon Flatline yesterday and expressed my enthusiasm, only to be hastily and publicly reminded of my Q at Parliament. I agreed to a Q for Q with Sgt Shultz before he passed the reins to Gucci, maybe 3-4 months ago, so quickly I had to change my alarms for an earlier wake up and come up with a plan to satisfy the #WeFoCo crowd. I Google Imaged the AO to get an idea what I was working with, set a plan in motion, and drove west to see who would join me

Mosey to the basketball court behind the school, where I explained the order of operations.
There were 2 exercises and a mode of transportation. Pax would alternate exercises around the 3 point line, starting at the baseline and stopping at the wing, top of the key, wing, and other baseline before traversing to the other side of the court and repeato before moseying back to the start. See the image below for more clarity.

Set 3: A) Bonnie Blairs x20 B) Head, shoulders, knees, toes w/a jack reacher x10 Transportation – mosey
Set 4: A) Alternating shoulder taps x20 B) LBC x20 Transportation – crab walk
Set 5: A) Burpees x5 B) SSH x20 Transportation – broad jump
We completed all 5 rounds and had 6 minutes to spare for some popcorn mary back at the launch that included Big Os, Penguin crunches, WWIIs, Boxcutters, Mutton crunches, Heels to heaven, and the crowd favorite, Alabama prom dates.
Not a lot of MC. YHC was humbled to be in the presence of 4 #respects, all of whom were more than twice my age. That is not meant to be a snide commentary of any kind – I’m truly impressed by these men (and others) who are out with F3 every morning. It’s great to be in fellowship with men who have lived through the stages of life that I am entering, and the advice and encouragement I regularly receive from our older (read: awesome) HIMs is one of the driving forces that keeps drawing me further into the F3WS community. None of us young fools mean any disrespect when we say we want to be like you when we grow up…it really is the truth!

Prayers were lifted for Blue Steel and his family, and for my wife and I as we have our anatomy scan for our twins today.
