PAX: Litter Box, Sac, Lamb Chomp. Lawn Boy, Tarhole, Traegar, Post Hole, Razzie, Mutton (WB), Snooki, Chisel, Truck Stop (WB), Red Baron, Cherry Pie, The Vig (QIC)
The details of this back blast will be a little fuzzy since I made today’s Q up on the fly. The bell struck the half hour and I led 15 Pax by foot to the nice little patio on the corner of Glade St. and Northwest Blvd. It is a nice little concrete circle area surrounded by rock walls. I vote we call it, Toto’s Veranda, even though Toto is not even around anymore. We did the usual fair of warm-o-rama exercises. SSH, IST, Whirly’s w/ clap, Merkins, Mtn. Climbers, Plank jacks, all in cadence in varying reps ranging from 15 to 20. Afterwards, we ran to the back side of education hill, and partnered up for a little DORA 123: merkins, squats, LBCs. Partner A performs called exercise while partner B runs down education hill and bear crawls back up. Flap jack and continue until done. YHC partnered up with Tarhole. Dude is a Wolfpacker, so he is obviously one cool mf. The Pax ripped through DORA and we headed over to the pull up bars by Bryson Gym. We did 20 pull ups by doing 4 sets of 5 reps. I let the Pax take a breather in between sets. We knocked those out rather quickly so I led the Pax to the Tennis Court Pavilion for some sort of mutant mix of 7 layers of dips. Sprinkling burpees and core exercises between reps of dips. I don’t even know how many layers of dips we knocked out by we rocked them in cadence to the tune of 10 reps. We dip 5 Burpees OYO or 20 reps of LBCs, Penguin Crunch, and WWIIs. At this time Truckstop finally found us. I am sure he later regretted it. It was his birthday so we gave him a pass. A quick glance at my watch informed me that we had 7 minutes left so I led the Pax back to launch at the Hanes Park Parking Lot. We did popcorn mary in varying reps and cadence until Snooki took the last ticks out with alternating side planks.
We circled up, counted off, and I took us out. It must have been sufficient because Cherry Pie exclaimed that is was a pretty good beat down coming from a Speed trapping fast hole. I was a little disappointed that Zima didn’t show up. I sure hope he posted to Mayhem.
