Bunch of Millenials at Flatline

QIC: BAM

Date: 05/14/19

PAX: Palin, Turnover, H.O.G. (WB), Root Canal (WD), Mutton, BAM

On a cool, crisp May morning, pax gathered for some fun.  As the Q tries to fulfill the vision of the Flatline creator, Beverly, by keeping the pax in constant motion for 45 minutes – no 10 counts, no standing around, but also keep the group together (aka making sure the out of shape Q doesn’t get ditched), a search of the F3 nation exercise database provides the answer!
So, 0530 struck and off we went!
Warm-o-rama – yes, you can have a warm up at Flatline, just keep moving!
Mosey up Cherry towards 4th, then come back down Marshall, and pause for exercises.

  • Peter Parker
  • Mutton Crunch
  • American Hammer
  • Elbow plank

NMM

  • Pax noted some Flatline usuals, including site Q were nowhere to be found this morning
  • With everybody counting, chatter was a little light.  YHC should have been chattier since there was no way I was getting to 100 on any called exercises before these beasts
  • Palin, Turnover, and H.O.G. sprinted up 2nd street after each set like mad men!  Impressive
  • Traffic picks up around 0600 on 2nd street FYI
  • To no ones surprise Root Canal finished the set of squats first, when you combine his leg strength and abbreviated range of motion, you have a winner!
  • Speaking of Root Canal, it was noted on sets he finished first, he made sure to stand up and start moseying to the corner of the parking lot before announcing to the rest of us he was done.  #oldmanmove

Announcements & Prayer Requests

  • Convergence at Samaritan Saturday!
  • Bluto has his hip surgery tomorrow
  • Mutton lifted up a family dealing with alcoholism
  • Root Canal asked for prayers for his son who has been caring for a little boy.  They are working through custody issues with the mom.
