Due to my incredible ingenuity, only unsurpassed by my laziness, I decided to tweak my Wednesday Conspiracy beatdown and continue the theme of the value of encouraging each other with a little partner work.  We can do more, do it better and accomplish more in community.  So off we went from the confines of Bailey Park.

We moseyed and did some exercises along the way – each stop had one or two exercises done and then 10 burpees.

1- 25 SSH and 10 burpees OYO, 2- 20? IST and 30? Arm Swirlies and 10 burpees OYO, 3- Curb Stop Merkins and 10 burpees OYO, 4- 50 WWIIs and Leg Throw Downs off a loading dock with a partner and 10 burpees OYO, 5- 20 Partner Russian Twists and 10 burpees OYO.  So the Curb Stop Merkins was an idea I had that actually worked out well – Using a line of 5 or 6 curb stops, you move to your right and do a merkin, keeping your hands on the curb stops move one “arm step” to the right and do another merkin.  We did that for two rounds – got some complaining MC, so I counted this new exercise as a success.  The Partner Russian Twists were another Q idea that I have tried twice – not a winner.

So we moseyed to a hill behind Wise Man for a tweaked three man “grinder”?  Like on Wednesday, we sent one man running up the hill and back while the other two did partner, hand slap, burpees.  They were tough, but we completed more as partners, than if we had tried to do them by ourselves.  We had already done 50+ burpees already.

On our way back to Bailey Park, we stopped to do a few exercises to wait on the six.  One stop everyone will remember is another new exercise that came to me.  Partner BTTW.  Not a crowd favorite, but when done correctly, is tough and not illegal in NC.  However, after Palin, my partner, commented on my BTTW form resembling a banana with my overly arched back, I really tried to encourage him by saying I did not see a banana from him while performing BTTW.  No more comments needed in print, but it made the run back to Bailey Park full of clever repartee.  F3 is fun and we were fairly smoked.
