On a dry January morning, 11 pax gathered at the tipped over again Outhouse to be subjected to one of YHC’s Qs. YHC was super inspired by the fact that today is the 7th. It took a little while for some of the pax to figure that out, and by the time they did, YHC forgot his inspiration and moved on to other numbers. Not sure if that was a good thing or not but whatevs.

Warm-o-Rama
Usual fare of in cadence SSHs, Imperial Walkers, arm swirly things (both directions), We Think Whirly’s Still Got the Clap but We’re Not Entirely Sure Since We Haven’t Seen Him for Quite Awhile, Abe Vigodas, Peter Parkers. YHC managed to get through this while my cadence was being silently judged by Sgt. Schultz.

Tha Thang(s)
We moseyed down the sidewalk and paused at the mini rock pile for our first fun with the number 7. Pax were instructed to grab a medium rock. After reassuring Mongoose that there would be no running with said rocks, we did the following, all in cadence with no pauses between exercises.

7 curls
7 curls, 7 overhead presses
Balco is evidently an expert in pattern recognition b/c he knew the gist of what was coming next.
7 curls, 7 overhead presses, 7 bent over rows (queue Greenspan, “oh, now I get it”)
7 curls, 7 overhead presses, 7 bent over rows, 7 skull crushers

Pax returned their rocks exactly where they were found and moseyed to the parking lot in front of TJMS. Much to their delight, they found a scrap of cardboard with exercises written on it. Pax were instructed to run to the far end of the parking lot after each set and then backward run to return the starting point. TPS didn’t want to be seen with us, so he moved to the other side of the lot.

7 burpees
7 burpees, 14 merkins
7 burpees, 14 merkins, 21 squats
7 burpees, 14 merkins, 21 squats, 28 plank jacks
7 burpees, 14 merkins, 21 squats, 28 plank jacks, 35 Jack Reachers

We then moseyed to the covered walkway between two of the buildings and partnered up. Poor Burns got stuck with YHC. He took it well. Partner 1 enjoyed People’s Chair with some head-shoulders-knees-and-toes thrown in while Partner 2 ran backwards around the building. (At Zima’s suggestion, we turned around to go up/down the stairs. YHC doesn’t care what everyone says, that Zima is a sharp one.) Flapjack. For the second round, we did People’s Chair with Jack Reachers.

We briefly paused so Zucky could reclaim the four layers of clothes he had disrobed. Amazingly and thankfully, he still had a lot of clothing on (Ink Spot wants to know what he typically wears when it’s 10 degrees). We moseyed the way we came to the shelter in front of TJMS. There we did some bench work consisting of dips, step ups, irkins, Deter Darkers (YHC says it’s a thing – decline Peter Parkers), and some more dips.

We moseyed back home for some bonus Mary time as Pony previously commented that he was motivated to fit into his suit for an upcoming wedding.

We did Raggedy Anns, hillbillies, penguin crunches, mutton crunches, LBCs, heels to heaven, low flutter, box cutters, Rosalitas, Juanitas.

FIN.

COT
YHC took us out.

Burlap’s father passed away last night, so keep him and his family in your prayers.

Nothing really notable to document here.

Thanks for letting YHC have a turn with the keys, Greenspan. Always good to come home.

Not gonna lie, I’m smoked. Great Q, @RedEye!

Also, figured I would’ve been called out for my Antarctic attire. Gotta make weight!
