I’d like to claim credit for the weather and ideal running temps, but I need to give credit to the birthday boy. Plunger made special arrangements to remove the oppressive humidity and provided morning temps in the upper 50’s and gorgeous forecast for the weekends festivities. Thank you, running at 58 degrees feels so much better!

As a thank you to Plunger today instead of a traditional back blast I will share a birthday acrostic for a great member of the PAX.

P – Persistent (He’s been talking about his birthday party all year)

L – Lucky (He’s quite fortunate to have such a fine group of men as the F3 Winston Salem PAX to call friends)
U – Unforgettable (He literally won’t let us forget about Shmedfest)
N – Neighbor (His neighborhood birthday party has grown so much that he now hosts it at the Fairground 8/25, 4pm-10pm)

G – Generous (Shmedfest has a goal to raise $50,000 for Crisis Control Ministries)

E – Encourager (He is good at encouraging people to donate t Crisis Control Ministries)

R – Rocker (Come to Shmedfest 8/25 at the Fairgrounds and you can see him on stage)

It was a pleasure to run with all of you this morning! The convergence of runners for the final ~0.5 miles was awesome! It was great to have Tractors, Fastholes and everyone in between flying down Glade, Hawthorne and Northwest together.
