Mumble Chatter.  Otherwise known as “MC.”  What is it?  According to the dictionary, it is….For those Hates and younger, a Dictionary is a book…..A book is a tangible,…..Nevermind.  Suffice to say, the dictionary does not define MC.

Siri has no clue either.

Mumble Chatter – Talking incessantly during the Workout to Inspire the Q, encourage the other PAX and/or connect with FNGs. (F3 Lexicon)

But what is it?  To completely take Justice Potter Stewart out of context, “…I know it when I see it . . ..”

And the #DashPax has some professionals at MC.  #Iamlookingatyou

The above is brought up as during today’s Distillery beatdown, there was a complete and total lack of MC.  What that means is up for discussion.  YHC would like to believe it was due to the following:

 

Warm-o-Rama

Usual assortment of exercises:  SSH, IST, Merkins, OHC, Jack Reachers, and Copperhead Squats.  (All IC x 15)

 

The THANG

Mosey to shelter by football field.  Plan was to do work on said field, but as we approached the sprinkler system was on, so Omaha to adjacent field.  (Two quick questions at this point:  1) a sprinkler system for an elementary school football field?, 2) Why was it running after all the rain we have had?  #deepthoughtswithjackhandy

Go behind the shelter and grab 2 bricks.  Mosey to middle of field for the following instructions:

 

Set of exercises with bricks would be performed each time the Pax would return to the middle of the field.  After performing set of brick exercises, drop bricks, and mosey to one corner of the field.  Upon arrival, perform the called exercise, and then return to middle of field, and perform the next brick exercise.  Then mosey to 2nd corner of field.  Repeat until all four corners hit for that exercise.  Then start over and continue this pattern.

Brick exercises:

  • Curls x 25
  • Overhead Press x 25
  • Skull Crushers x 25
  • Bent over rows x 25

 

Exercises at 4 corners of field:

  • SSH x 25
  • Mountain Climbers x 25 (double count)
  • Running with Scissors x 25 (double count)
  • High Knees x 25 (double count)

 

Return bricks and mosey back to parking lot for:

MARY

LBCs, Mutton Crunches, Penguin Crunches, Low Flutter, Low Dolly, Heels to Heaven (all IC, all x 12), Plank (20 seconds or so)

Strong work by everyone today!  The cooler temps and lower humidity were appreciated.

1.46 miles covered this morning.

The following totals were completed by each Pax:

  • Curls: 100 reps
  • Overhead Press: 100 reps
  • Skull Crushers: 100 reps
  • Bent over rows: 100 reps
  • SSH: 100 reps
  • Mountain Climbers: 100 reps
  • Running with Scissors: 100 reps
  • High Knees: 100 reps

For those of you playing along at home, that is 800 reps of exercises.  Not too shabby.

 

As noted above, not much MC at all.  DQ did note that his feet were quite wet by the end of the workout.  At least it was only your feet.  The ground was definitely a wee bit damp.

Strong work by Jiminy this morning.  He is excited about the upcoming Bourbon Chase and the awesome responsibility of driving an elite team of runners.  Keep this up, and maybe next year he will be running??

YHC has seen Shake n Bake two times over the past several months. Both times were when YHC was the Q at the Distillery.  I now know he lives close.

First time working out with 60 Minutes.  Great to meet you, keep posting, and don’t be afraid to go East.

Schneider represented the Perry brothers, as the site Q was MIA.  Ok, he is actually at the beach.  Hopefully running and posting with F3Grandstrand.

Vegemite is WeFoCo regular, and a rockstar. Strong work this morning.

3 runners (Harden, Katniss and Ramses) finished up, yet stayed away from the COT.  Rumor is 5 miles were covered this morning.  Strong as always!

Convergence workout with FIA this Saturday at 8am at the Fairgrounds.  2.0 and M friendly.  All other Saturday workouts are cancelled.  Come on out!

Lunch Bunch tomorrow.  Goofy leading the way for (what I hear) are excellent hamburgers at Nicks Old Fashioned Hamburgers.  Clown car leaving 11:25.  Meet at Nicks at 11:45.

Continued prayers for DQ’s FIL.  Dealing with loss of his wife, and now some health issues.

Prayers for those with addiction and mental health issues.

    Admittedly a quieter group but YHC did mention wet feet at least three times. Ok maybe not BAM quality but thought quantity was sufficient MC. Great Q kept us moving the entire time
