8 gathered for the last Flatline workout of 2022 on the last Tuesday of December.

Upon announcing that we would be running to Bailey Park, YHC was met with disgruntled comrades who mentioned that that was far. What they didn’t know was that it was going to modified Indian Run. We assembled into a single file line and made our way to the park. The last 2 in the line completed 3 burpees and then sprinted to the front of the line to catch up. Once they made their way to the rest of the group they tagged the last 2 in the group to repeat the same.

YHC explained that the PAX were now going to be engaged in a scavenger hunt for 2 wooden signs. They divided into 2 teams and took off. However, they were over zealous and overran the hiding spots by a large degree. The last team to find the sign was due for a workout consequence. If I remember correctly, @Zima, @BobRoss, and maybe @mutton? were among the “losing” team and had a choice between cartwheels or crabwalks down the hill. YHC gave the winning team the directive to hold a plank and watch…however, they decided to complete more burpees…their choice.

Side note: YHC had to drive around to the back of the park and hide the signs to avoid the curious eye the security guard.

Another side note: When @Lampchop realized that the sign he found was the workout reps he wanted to throw it into the street.

We moved our endeavors across the street and out of the wet grass where we completed the “Bermuda Triangle”. This workout was previously used by YHC as the “7 of Diamonds”. However, in the interest of space and time we cut the stations down from 4 to 3 – hence a triangle. At each of the 3 stations PAX would complete:

-7 burpees
-14 merkins
-21 IST
-28 squats
-21 plank jacks
-14 box cutters
-7 burpees?

We then moseyed our way back to the site origin and completed the workout with a round of Mary’s.

Grateful to start the day with you fine gentlemen. Hard work completed by all. My apologies for taking so long to write this.
