Are Are Swirlies Okay for Mary?

PAX: Greenspan, Cheesesteak, Spicoli, Cherrypie, Crash, Lambchop (WB) and Boomerang (WD)

Shortly before the workout began it was still only the site Q and YHC. We questioned the alternative of coffee as we both weren’t ready for the cold just yet.  However, slowly other PAX arrived and we would have to accept the cold.

As we were now a PAX of 7 we were off.  The normal warmarama was in order but without the arm swhirlies, for now.  YHC was unaware that Cherrypie also doesn’t believe in Seal or Overhead Claps either! The more you know.

To the sidewalk for the beatdown-there are several openings/breaks in the stone walls around the park as well as many telephone poles.  So while not very creative we began.  At each opening and telephone pole the PAX would do 10 merkins, 10 squats and 10 WWII’s.  The mode of movement between each opening was via bear crawls and between the telephone poles a run or mosey.  We made our way around to the park opening on Hawthorne  and did a quick round of 20 irkins, 10 left leg step-ups, 20 derkins and 10 right leg step-ups.  Repeato.  Back to the start same way, but at each telephone and opening 10 carolina dry docks, 10 monkey humpers and 10 low flutters.  With time running down we only made it half way and needed to return to the start for Mary.

Mary consisted of some of the normal exercises but arm swirlies were tossed in to see if a certain PAX was paying attention and might be tricked into doing them-he wasn’t!

    Great workout even though YHC was slow moving at start. Helped me get my numbers in for the Burns Challenge 💪👊❤️
