Thank you for our food…

PAX: Boomerang, Transcript, Ink Spot, Ziggy Stardust, Tonka

So after a very long few days/weeks and a 7-month old being up 4-5 times throughout the night before (which is not his usual sleep behavior), it is clear that my mind was not firing on all cylinders. The PAX of the Parliament were firsthand witnesses to this and there are several pieces of evidence that suggest it. To name a few: Imperial Storm Troopers are NOT possible with the speed in which I was calling cadence, completely forgetting which exercises I had planned for the Wall Sit portion, and last, but certainly not least, I in fact ended my prayer with “and thank you for our food, Amen”. Other than not really sure I knew what was happening, it turned out to be a pretty good workout. The 5 PAX that worked through my mindlessness, killed it out there! And welcome to Transcript’s first Parliament post.

WoR was the usual SSH, IST (no telling how many we actually did), Whirly w/ clap, Michael Phelps, thigh stretch things, arm swirly things (both ways).

We started off with blocks and two stations. I moved this to be near the covered sidewalk in case the rain joined us.

Station #1: 6 block swings, 12 OH press, 18 skull crushers, 24 curls, 30 bentover rows, 36 chest presses

Stations #2: 6 burpees, 12 WWII, 18 merkins, 24 fast fee, 30 peter parkers, 36 squats

Each PAX got through each station at least 2 times or maybe more. Once I realized the rain was holding off for the time being, we stopped the station work and slow moseyed over to the wall.

People’s chair + 15 jack reachers down the line

Wall plank + 10 Mike Tysons down the line

People’s chair + nothing because I completely forgot so we just did PC for about 2 minutes

People’s chair + 15 overhead claps (thanks Ziggy) down the line

Slow mosey to the benches

Benches: 15 irkins, 15 left-leg step ups, 15 right-leg step ups, 15 dips (x2) + the 4 exercises with 10 each

With about 4 minutes left, we put the blocks back and circled up for Mary.

Mary: LBCs, penguin crunch, Alabama prom date, and 1-minute plank
