Despite the rainy forecast, 5 brave PAX posted to see how I would celebrate my 4 year F3iversary, with my first post on 11/10/2016. Somehow the rain stopped as soon as we arrived and started back up right after COT, interesting.
After a brief warmorama, we started to mosey into the dark trail to the Reynolda house stopping along the way for 16 burpees, 32 dips, 40 seconds of BTTW, 44 bridge thrusts (maybe properly called cumberland county aquaducts), and 46 jump squats. The numbers represent the average number of workouts I got in each week for the calendar years since starting F3.
We then did a short mosey to the dumpster where we partnered up for Dora, the moving partner running down the hill to the tree and back while the stationary partner started on the exercises:
- 295 Squats
- 199 Monkey Humpers
- 96 Iron Mikes
VG correctly guessed half way through the squats that the seemingly random numbers reflected my weight loss since starting F3. The highest number I ever saw on the scale was 295, but I didn’t check it often so who knows. Sunday morning before writing out my weinke, I weighed in at 199 (breaking the 200 barrier has been really hard and slow moving goal for me). A quick tap on the iphone calculator shows this is a 96 pound weight loss, not shabby.
Next we circled up and assumed a high plank position and, going sequentially around the circle, each PAX completed 20 merkins. The plan was to continue doing this until we got to 841, the number of workouts YHC has posted at these last 4 years, but time expired and we only got around the circle once, shucks.
