Shoulder Sand-trap at VI

QIC: Snake Eyes

Date: 05-24-21

PAX: Van Gogh, Schneider, Sour Mash, Harden, Subfloor

It couldn’t have been better weather this past Monday morning, cool 55 or 60. Just the right temp to put some work in after an unlikely win for the 50 year old Lefty in the PGA Championship the day before. This workout was inspired by his sand work.

Warm-a-rama:

SSH IC

5 merkins

Whirly with clap IC

5 Merkins

Imperial Storm tropper IC

5 merkins

Abe vagoda IC

5 merkins

Shoulders are warm.

The Thang:

Grab a rock

Start at one end with overhead press (one)

Put rock friend down, brea crawl while pushing to median

Carolina Dry Dock (one to start and ascending from there)

Bear crawl with rock to end

11 merkins

Grab a golf ball and read the break appropriately enough to hit in the basket (everyone except schneider successful on first attempt)

If you hit the “putt” you get to choose what you do on the way back up

Otherwise, crawl bear with rock back to median and repeat.

Chatter:

Ironically enough, our golf theme workout (nominal) was furthered by the fact that Mash injured himself playing golf, and still came out! Well done sir. Did he come out only to make sure he discharged his duties to rid himself of the ferns?

Harden was nerves of steel as usual, calculated, collected, going about his business.

Van Gogh thought the workout might have better fit in an alcatraz setting, further displaying his site Q bias (although he was right as well).

Subfloor took the workout like a champ, quiet and efficient.

Schneider hit some great golf shots, and modified as necessary along the way.

Announcements: convergence on memorial day 7:00am Jamison park , and VQ coming up for this week at alcatraz

Prayers: Mash and schneider’s mom, for men in F3
