A dirty half-dozen PAX assembled at the Idiotic Village for a Spicoli beatdown.  Unfortunately YHC was truly on #SpicoliTime so arrived 1 minute late to find Schneider and The Singing Cowboy back from their EC run.  Strong work gentlemen: my greatest apologies for being late.

But just as we were starting, 3 more PAX came to join us and the day was saved.

The PAX got to enjoy some of the same physical therapy exercises YHC does for shoulder recovery on the curb.  All took it well in stride.

After the 7’s of burpees, we did an extra 8-18 more burpees to bring the number up to 60 for the workout.  Good toward the Burns 20210 challenge.

COT:

  • Schneider informed the PAX that our dear Schultz had a stroke this past Sunday and that he was in the hospital but seemed to be recovering well. As I finish writing this, Wednesday evening, Schultz has informed us via Slack that he had surgery and it was successful and he’s on the mend.  Very good turn of events from something so scary to have happened to him.
  • Our dear Beverly is running 43 miles for his 43rd birthday in an effort to raise money for H.O.P.E. (Help Our People Eat), a food distribution non-profit serving children in Forsyth County.
  • YHC took the PAX out with gratitude for F3 Winston Salem, the accountability, the outlet, and the great example the men involved are to each other and our community at large.
