PAX: Drip, Turnover, Greenspan, H.O.G., Zima

It was cold, it was wet and it was dark…but that did not stop these 6 PAX trying to get better.  One even is recovering from an injury!  Strong work was had this AM and let me try to explain how.

Met in Piedmont Plaza and the Q had the word “Start” written in chalk at the bottom the ramp going up to the next level…this did not go unnoticed.  During the WarmArama, we basically stalled waiting for Turnover to show since he was trying to be fashionably late.  However, during this time, it was pointed out TWICE (by two separate PAX) that the combo of the shirt and hair that Drip was sporting made him look a lot like a character off of Star Trek.

The THANG (could be a little confusing)

The Q had 4 corners marked with exercises on the second level of the parking garage.  The point of this that there were no specific numbers for any of the exercises, rather a selected PAX would decide when everyone departed from that zone of movement.  Location 1 was Bobby Hurleys, Location 2 was Low Flutters, Location 3 was WMDs, and Location 4 was Plank Jacks.

We started at the bottom of the ramp and Jail Broke up the ramp (while Zima did farmers carry with 2 25lb plates in pinch form).  We used Zima as a timer the first round, how ever long it took him to get to each station (some with a delay so he could join in on the movement) we would put in work. Once he got there, we JBed to the next location.  There was an exception of transportation between the Low Flutters and WMDs, and that was about 25 yards of which the chosen PAX could choose any transportation they want. (i.e. Lunges, Plank Walk, Crawl Bear and Murder Bunny Hops[??])  Once we completed the Plank Jacks, we JBed back down the ramp to the Start.  There was a programed minute or so of Rest…THEN you do 50 WW2s!!!  Once completed, do it all over again.

After we completed 3 rounds and while in the middle of completing our 3rd set of 50 WW2s, the Q informed everyone that the last lap would be Jail Breaking BACKWARDS!  This was a shot to everyone’s legs and made the Bobby Hurleys even less fun.

Thanks to these men for making me stronger with the push and the endurance definitely put into check!  Burns, the keys were collected in the lost and found by the security guard…she said she would hold on to them for you.
