Spreadsheets from the Gloom (NMM):

  • YHC corresponded with Zuckerberg the night before to confirm the Q. Due to business travel for the Metaverse Zuck was unsure if he would be on site at Redline. YHC agreed to have something, but was subconsciously and consciously hoping Zuck would show up.
  • Litterbox and CHiPs showed up early for Redline anxious for a fun morning in the gloom. Suede soon followed…before the warm up lap—early eh?
  • Mongoose, Balco, and The Vig arrived from their RIRO looking for Zuckerberg. With a few seconds to spare the Pax surely expected Zuck to arrive riding 2 out of 4 as normal, but it was not meant to be.
  • During the warm-up lap YHC hatched a plan…should YHC be a DW this morning or not?
  • Mongoose took the liberty to mumble about the distance along Northwest Blvd., but Balco et. al. rallied to the defense since YHC was a substitute Q. However it was quickly determined there was no merit in that argument since YHC was the site Q.  You v. You. Mongoose still took point with Litterbox close on his heels and The Vig in tow.
  • Balco as usual talked casually along Northwest going uphill.
  • The Pax were congenial to the Q for the Intimidator sprints. All Pax were rolling up the hill with some speed. The Vig graciously used his watch to track our proper recovery time and by default earned secondary substitute Q honors.
  • The Vig has some serious afterburner kicks when going up the Intimidator—speed!
  • CHiPs made a smart You v You decision to recover on the Intimidator rather than over do it. YHC was concerned about his heart rate, but he was concerned about not throwing up. #joysofgettinginshape
  • Hitman enjoying his ongoing conversation with Suede since their other sidekick Resistor was traveling –must be with Zuck.
  • YHC heard a little mumble chatter on the track regarding the short 100m recovery. It seems less recovery makes those 200,300, and 400 sprints slightly harder.
  • Hitman at one point on the track indicated that CHiPs wasn’t the only one about to throw up.
  • T-Claps to CHiPs who keeps coming out to this tough running workout and getting stronger because of it. Gotta get Scarn back out.
  •  Huge applause to the Pax who crushed it on Tuesday pushing themselves to their Redline, especially on the Intimidator.
