YHC was pleasantly surprised to see 3 fellow Pax step up to the call of the later-than-never #F3Gears Twitter Post. It turned out to be a wonderful day for a ride. Weather was perfect! YHC noted there was a slight chill in the early morning shadows riding down Stratford after the launch. With #HIM Undertow having extensive Dash Cycling experience, a beginner’s hill loop was plotted and traveled. The Pax made their way down Stratford to Coliseum, looping back through 25th & Arbor, to Reynolda. Down Reynolda for a loop around Hanes Park, up Runnymeade to Stratford. The Pax then performed a repeato except with a nice climb up Brookstown for fan favorite. Pax then reassembled and made their way back to Stratford via Runnymeade, and eventually back to Whole Foods. The Pax covered right at about 15 miles in just under an hour, solid efforts with all the hills involved.

For those unaware F3Gears-Winston Salem is in it’s infant stage of becoming a full fledged regular AO. Currently F3Gears is a NoDrop group road ride that occurs on Sunday mornings at 0700. However, forward looking, the AO will likely be a Pop-up all over town style ride, covering different terrains…as we have a lot of Potential Riders with different style bikes and ability levels.

Good to see Dr. Toot Canal out with another group of cyclists heading out to Tobaccoville.

Great to meet and have Wiki out with us, as a relatively new cyclist, this #HIM made quick work of those hills.

Undertow and Cheesesteak really just putting out a continual solid effort the entire morning, and TClaps to Undertow for a solid route.

Hills are great for leg strength, Pax considering adding a West End Hill Extravaganza to the highly official F3Gears future route binder, no copies allowed.

The pax is anxiously awaiting the acquisition of a 2 Wheeled Whirly special. Can’t wait to have that #HIM out with us.

Prayers for Cheesesteaks Back, and that it would continue to be healed, and that riding longer and longer distances would be made possible.

If interested in F3Gears – Winston Salem, reach out to YHC on twitter or send me a personal DM for more info.

4 Pax Launched from Whole Foods, on Miller street, at 0700.
