{"id":8817,"date":"2019-04-30T12:11:28","date_gmt":"2019-04-30T16:11:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/?p=8817"},"modified":"2019-05-08T14:25:34","modified_gmt":"2019-05-08T18:25:34","slug":"cresting-the-summit-repeatedly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/2019\/04\/cresting-the-summit-repeatedly\/","title":{"rendered":"Cresting the Summit, Repeatedly"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HC gratefully responded to a Valdez invitation to pick up the keys today at Redline.\u00a0 Our activities went something like this:<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>The Thang:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Clockwise warmup lap around the park, regrouping at Joymongers (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">not<\/span> part of the Baron\u2019s land holdings).\u00a0 Pax were informed that \u201cwe have some hills to climb.\u201d<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Run hard up Pilot View to Summit, mosey back down, pick up the six.<\/li>\n<li>Run hard up Brookstown to Summit, mosey back down, pick up the six.<\/li>\n<li>Run hard up the Intimidator to Summit, mosey back down, pick up the six.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pax were instructed to remember what order they completed the mosey back down the Intimidator.\u00a0 Based on order of completion:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner A runs hard up Intimidator, left on Carolina, left on Brookstown, left on West End.<\/li>\n<li>Partner B runs hard down West End, right and up Brookstown, right on Carolina, right on the Intimidator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When the two partners meet, high-five one another and mosey pace until you meet again and repeat.<\/p>\n<p>We completed ~4-7 rounds of this nonsense and regathered for Thistle-style Tabata in the courtyard of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dips x 20<\/li>\n<li>Penguin crunch x 10<\/li>\n<li>Airborne Penguin crunch x 10<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mosey right on West End, right on Glade, right on Sunset, back to the parking lot.<\/p>\n<p>Fin!<\/p>\n<p>Mileage ~ 4.5 miles; Elevation gain ~ 400 feet<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Announcements:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Schmedfest 2019, August 24.
