The F3 Winston-Salem Dads and Kids camping trip is back after taking a break in 2018. This year’s trip will be at the same location – New River State Park in Jefferson, NC. The group site has been reserved for July 12 – 14. The site holds 35 campers, so first-come-first-serve as we’ve done in the past. HC in the comments section to this PB. If you’d prefer to have your own camp site, you want to make a reservation at the Wagoner Road Walk In Campground per the New River State Park website.<\/p>\n
The campground has a bathhouse with clean showers. There is a hiking trail throughout the park, river access for fishing, and plenty of space for all kinds of activities. On Saturday everyone has the option to canoe\/kayak\/tube on the New River – make a reservation at Zaloo’s Canoes (try calling first before doing their online reservation).<\/p>\n
