Listen my children and you shall hear<\/span>\r\nOf the Flatline beatdown in the Dash frontier.<\/span>\r\nOn the twenty-sixth of March, in twenty nineteen<\/span>\r\nHardly a man remained dry and clean<\/span>\r\nIt was Burns\u2019s first Flatline post, just to be clear.<\/span>\r\n\r\nThe Q posted on Slack, \"If the PAX arrive<\/span>\r\nBy car or feet from the town this morn,<\/span>\r\nHang a lantern aloft in a bay on floor five<\/span>\r\nOf the Winston phallic tower as a signal warn,\u2014<\/span>\r\nOne, if by car, and two, if by feet;<\/span>\r\nAnd I in the parking lot will be,<\/span>\r\nReady to Q and work the forearm<\/span>\r\nThrough every Old Salem side street and farm,<\/span>\r\nFor the F3 folk to do body fat much harm.\"<\/span>\r\n\r\nSo let me tell you a backblast of a story<\/span>\r\nAbout the PAX searching for multiple Fs of glory.<\/span>\r\nThere were thirteen of us to be exact.<\/span>\r\nIt\u2019s on Twitter, so it must be a fact.<\/span>\r\nThey travelled the roads from near and far;<\/span>\r\nLysol even showed up without a car.<\/span>\r\n\r\nIn a dimly lit church car park,<\/span>\r\nThe men assembled to workout in the dark.<\/span>\r\nThe gloom is what they say;<\/span>\r\nStrange things were about to happen that day.<\/span>\r\n\r\nDrip showed up mysteriously grinning a grin.<\/span>\r\nAnd Mutton, as usual, silently strolled right in.<\/span>\r\nNot the case however for Mr. Bedside Manner,<\/span>\r\nPita\u2019s voice hits you like a freaking sledge hammer.<\/span>\r\nWhile Cheesesteak changed costumes without a glance,<\/span>\r\nVan Gogh boldly announced he must remove his pants.<\/span>\r\nWhy? \u00a0We may never want to know.<\/span>\r\nWhen half past five struck, we had to go.<\/span>\r\n\r\nWe began in a corner with <\/span>20 Side Straddle Hops<\/b>\r\nTo get rid of those pesky muffin tops.<\/span>\r\nThen we dropped to the ground times <\/span>10<\/b>,<\/span>\r\nAnd had to get back up again.<\/span>\r\nBurpees<\/b> are thy cursed name.<\/span>\r\nTo the left, <\/span>Apollo Creeding<\/b> we came.<\/span>\r\n\r\nNext up, <\/span>20 Imperial Storm Troopers<\/b> for the boys.<\/span>\r\nAnd of course, the immaculate cadence brought out mumble chatter noise.<\/span>\r\nThe amateur mistake the PAX made there,<\/span>\r\nWas thinking that the Q would f\u2019ing care.<\/span>\r\nOh Balco, Oh Balco, some new material please.<\/span>\r\nHow many do you have of those Mother So Dear degrees?<\/span>\r\nOnto <\/span>10 Burpees<\/b> we quickly went,<\/span>\r\nPlanked<\/b> it up and on a <\/span>Jailbreak<\/b> we were sent.<\/span>\r\n\r\n20<\/b> times poor <\/span>Whirly had the Clap<\/b>,<\/span>\r\nSo on the next <\/span>10 Burpees<\/b> the ground we did slap.<\/span>\r\nAlthough Huckleberry flies through them at an alarming pace,<\/span>\r\nBalco performs them with a sadistic smile on his face.<\/span>\r\nSince the work on the legs was light,<\/span>\r\nWe <\/span>Apollo Creeded<\/b> all the way to the right.<\/span>\r\n\r\nWe <\/span>Spidered the Merkins<\/b> to the count of <\/span>10, <\/b>\r\nGot up and did those <\/span>Burpees<\/b> again.<\/span>\r\nBackpedaled<\/b> the length of the lot,<\/span>\r\nThen <\/span>Carioca\u2019ed<\/b> to another corner spot.<\/span>\r\nNext was <\/span>Skipping<\/b> and <\/span>Crawling like a Bear,<\/b>\r\nAnd finally <\/span>Planking<\/b> to make sure everyone was there.<\/span>\r\n\r\nTo Winston Square we joyfully moseyed,<\/span>\r\nThen <\/span>20 Lieutenant Dan<\/b>\u2019s at slow speed.<\/span>\r\n20 Box Jumps<\/b> next, for that there really was no need.<\/span>\r\nWe added some <\/span>Mountain Climbers<\/b> for fun,<\/span>\r\nBut no, no, no, we were not yet done. <\/span>\r\n\r\nUp the stairs we <\/span>Irkined<\/b> our way,<\/span>\r\nPerforming <\/span>5<\/b> on each step ... what the hay?<\/span>\r\nAt the top, we <\/span>LBC\u2019ed 50<\/b> times and <\/span>Planked<\/b> and <\/span>Gore\u2019d<\/b>,<\/span>\r\nThen <\/span>Derkined<\/b> our bodies down as groans and grunts were roared.<\/span>\r\n60 up and 60 down sponsored by Dr. Canal\u2019s dental insurance reward.<\/span>\r\n\r\nMountain Climbers<\/b> ensued before getting up on stage,<\/span>\r\nTo visit Miss Mary and our cores to engage.<\/span>\r\nThe complaining raged from Balco and Van Gogh and Offsides and Huck.<\/span>\r\nEven Greenspan and Burnsy, all to which the Q replied, \u201cShut the F*#k!\u201d<\/span>\r\nThe <\/span>25 In Cadence Low Dollies<\/b> and <\/span>WWIIs<\/b> were performed as just,<\/span>\r\nBut when it came to the <\/span>Little Baby Flutter Crunches<\/b>, there was much disgust.<\/span>\r\nQuite a few of the lads actually swore and cussed.<\/span>\r\nThus the Q decided to Omaha at rep number <\/span>10<\/b>,<\/span>\r\nMostly because he couldn\u2019t do another one again.<\/span>\r\nWe ended this portion by pointing our <\/span>Heels to Heaven<\/b>.<\/span>\r\n\r\nBut the ceaseless running of Mr. Pita\u2019s mouth,<\/span>\r\nCaused us to jump up and then point our bodies south.<\/span>\r\nThat\u2019s right, <\/span>10<\/b> more <\/span>Burpees<\/b> for those reading at home.<\/span>\r\nThen off to the next spot we did leisurely roam.<\/span>\r\n\r\nAfter running on Second Street for a few blocks,<\/span>\r\nWe stopped, dropped, and did <\/span>10 Carolina Dry Docks<\/b>.<\/span>\r\nAt the new Waterworks pocket park we grabbed our socks<\/span>\r\nAnd <\/span>Monkey Humped 20<\/b> times to onlookers\u2019 faces of shocks.<\/span>\r\n\r\nThis group of warriors was fiercely workin\u2019,<\/span>\r\nSo to keep us together, the Q called for a <\/span>Tempo Merkin<\/b>.<\/span>\r\nOK, maybe it was more like <\/span>10<\/b> reps if you\u2019re keeping tabs.<\/span>\r\nWhat\u2019s next? \u00a0Oh, a round of <\/span>20 Ski Abs<\/b>.<\/span>\r\nWe finished at the park with <\/span>20 Dips<\/b> on some slabs.<\/span>\r\nBut first in honor Offsides\u2019s Flatline presence,<\/span>\r\nA double set of his noted <\/span>5 Burpee<\/b> quintessence.<\/span>\r\n\r\nAway we dashed back to our AO in a jog,<\/span>\r\nAlthough at some point we stopped for what is known as a <\/span>Crunchy Frog<\/b>.<\/span>\r\n20<\/b> of those and we were on the move as time insists,<\/span>\r\nTo the BB&T lot to see what was left on the lists.<\/span>\r\nAh, of course. \u00a0A series of <\/span>25 No Collusion Twists<\/b>.<\/span>\r\n\r\nHalf a mile, half a mile,<\/span>\r\nHalf a mile onward,<\/span>\r\nAll in the First Pres parking lot<\/span>\r\nRan the Dash PAX.<\/span>\r\n\u201cForward, the Flatliners!<\/span>\r\nCharge for the AO!\u201d the Q said.<\/span>\r\nInto the First Pres parking lot<\/span>\r\nRan the Dash PAX.<\/span>\r\n\r\n\u201cForward, the Flatliners!\u201d<\/span>\r\nWas there a man dismayed?<\/span>\r\nNot though the PAX knew<\/span>\r\nSomeone had blundered.<\/span>\r\nTheirs not to make reply,<\/span>\r\nTheirs not reason why,<\/span>\r\nTheirs but to Burpee and comply.<\/span>\r\nInto the First Pres parking lot<\/span>\r\nRan the Dash PAX.<\/span>\r\n\r\nSince we were now completely and totally exonerated,<\/span>\r\nBack at the launch, we ran a few lengths that were moderated.<\/span>\r\nRaring to go, the ponies were let loose into a <\/span>Jailbreak<\/b>,<\/span>\r\nConcluding it all with <\/span>50 seconds of Burpees<\/b>; that was no mistake.<\/span>\r\n\r\nAs we end, if you would permit me, fine reader, sir,<\/span>\r\nMay I leave you with some thoughts to infer.<\/span>\r\nI\u2019m always humbled by those men who show up when I\u2019m Q\u2019ing,<\/span>\r\nBut does anyone else wonder what exercises Cheesesteak is actually doing?<\/span>\r\nIf you need proof that \u201cF3 works\u201d, as the motto goes,<\/span>\r\nLook no further as Greenspan\u2019s workout domination grows.<\/span>\r\nAnd those respects will simply just not act their age.<\/span>\r\nYou all set an admirable example when the Hates and Ayes finally turn the page.<\/span>\r\nOh, here\u2019s a truth nugget by the way,<\/span>\r\nThe old guys were the majority today!<\/span>\r\n\r\nSome announcements for the PAX who have read this far.<\/span>\r\nSite Qs, please update the Google calendar.<\/span>\r\nVan Gogh has the Conspiracy Q and promises less Burpees.<\/span>\r\nNeither the former or future WIB Site Q is in his thirties.<\/span>\r\nAt West Salem Public House, come celebrate the generational gap,<\/span>\r\nAs Burns takes over for Thistle \u2026 and that\u2019s a wrap.<\/span>\r\n\r\nT-Claps to you if you\u2019ve read throughout.<\/span>\r\nBedtime for me, Zima is out!<\/span><\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
