11 showed up for a D-Day Q, but were still more than happy to see that it was a Hoptoberfest substi-Q.\u00a0 Much joy was shared throughout the workout and very little complaining occurred.\u00a0 In the end, stronger and more uplifted, the PAX rejoiced at the glorious, and not at all disjointed beat down that they endured.\u00a0 Ok, now that we have begun to set the stage for the cheerful morning of the first 2 F’s, let us move forward into the happenings of the morning.<\/p>\n

After that debacle, we mosey’d to the track for some nonsense.<\/p>\n
The Thang<\/p>\n
So I had a weinke.\u00a0 I left it at home.\u00a0 Memory is the first thing to go, and all that.\u00a0 I had a pretty easy to remember plan, yet I still couldn’t remember.\u00a0 It went a bit like this:<\/p>\n
1st lap, start at one corner, 5 burpees, run to next corner, 10 merkins, run to the corner after the bend around the tennis courts, 15 squat jumps, run to the next corner, 20 lbc’s, run to the last corner, 25 plank jacks.\u00a0 Easy right, sure, then we did another lap and doubled all the above exercises, and then one more time where we did original number x 3.\u00a0 I don’t think the PAX was paying too much attention to my admittedly poor instructions, because quite a few apparently cheated, or did too many, I don’t remember.\u00a0 Age, amiright?<\/p>\n
After that fun, we headed to our favorite rock pile and PAX were instructed to pick a rock that they would be comfortable with, but one that wouldn’t make them feel like they were cheating themselves.\u00a0 Not all PAX took that advice, mostly taking too much.\u00a0 Anyway, Proehl didn’t bring gloves, so I think this part particularly sucked for him.<\/p>\n

MC:I didn’t hear much MC this morning other than mocking me for my terrible attempt at a new exercise, and inability to remember 5 exercises.<\/p>\n
COT: Schmedfest is a long way away, so prepare now.\u00a0 My recording software failed me this morning, so I apologize that I don’t remember who the prayer requests came from, but Prayers for Rob, who lost his mother, I believe a friend of Undertow, and Plunger’s sister? Brooke who is dealing with “post-pregnancy s$%t”.\u00a0 A call for prayers for people everywhere struggling with addiction and the families of those people as well.\u00a0 YHC took us out.<\/p>\n
Personal Note:\u00a0 I haven’t been present much recently.\u00a0 YHC’s been struggling with much in my life right now, new job, buying and selling a house, and just general difficulty that’s really been impacting my motivation.\u00a0 I appreciate the support I have gotten from the PAX while I work myself through these things.\u00a0 It’s comforting to know that I can step in and be welcomed, despite the prolonged absence.<\/p>\n
