T-Claps. However, I\u2019m not sure that I got the ROI that I had intended for my PAX:Tweet ratio. \u00a0It seems that Offsides and Fingers were much more efficient in their marketing efforts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It took Van Gogh 1.4 seconds after the workout to demand that the FNGs sign up for the website. \u00a0I don\u2019t even think they had finished catching their breath yet before his verbal assault.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Greenspan was moderately firm this morning. \u00a0Don\u2019t ask. Please don\u2019t ask.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Palin, let it go. \u00a0Just let it go man. \u00a0Maybe next time you can approach my level.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The cold rain did not diminish the enthusiasm of the FNGs one bit. \u00a0They were beasts. Brexit even had a smile on his face most of the time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As could probably be predicted VG, Greenspan, and Cheesesteak were out front on the hills. \u00a0The rest of the PAX were not far behind, close on their heels, smartly bunched together for encouragement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">An unnamed PAX member stopped by St. Paul\u2019s Church on the way up Pilot View to either get a little extra 3rd F in or perhaps, well \u2026 spill some merlot. \u00a0Hopefully those prayers were heard.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So the intention of the weight vest was to handicap the front runner during the uphill portions on Pilot View. \u00a0YHC didn\u2019t count on Cheesesteak gaming the system, Van Gogh\u2019s Merkin \u201cform\u201d with or without the vest (more on that later), the vest not even remotely slowing down Greenspan (C\u2019MON MAN!), or the Q getting stuck with his own punishment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The steepness of Pilot View does not negatively affect Cheesesteak\u2019s uphill speed. \u00a0The man literally bounded upwards.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dr. Toot Canal\u2019s nuclear weapons were foiled by the rain.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Quote from one of the FNGs (to Lambchop) as he walked into the circle this morning: \u201cYou weren\u2019t kidding about the gardening gloves.\u201d \u00a0Uh dude, we\u2019re not planting tulips here. We like to think of them as workout gloves, thank you very much.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lambchop only had super nice things to say about the Q all morning. \u00a0He thoroughly appreciated every aspect of the beatdown.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I\u2019m pretty sure if I ever let Drip administer any anesthesia to me, I\u2019m not waking up. \u00a0Retribution.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">How can Palin say so many words, yet nothing even close to meaningful comes out? \u00a0Is he under a gag order at home and\/or work and has to run his mouth at beatdowns just to get it all out?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Public Service Announcement: Has Van Gogh ever \u201chelpfully\u201d critiqued your exercise form? \u00a0Well, feel free to offer him some unsolicited advice in return on his Hand Release Merkin form. \u00a0Sure, his hands were coming off the ground for the hand release part, but his chest barely made it 3 inches higher. \u00a0I thought Gigantor had longer arms than that. Anyway, just an observation that I thought warranted a space in the backblast.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As the PAX were giving it their all, fighting hard with determination to conquer Pilot View, the driver of some self-proclaimed royalty d-bag in a new Mercedes pulled up to one of the intersections and interrupted the PAX. \u00a0From the comfort of his dry, heated, leatherbound backseat, he rolled down his rear window and passed a bottle of Grey Poupon, then drove off to the bottom of PV.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Announcements:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Coffeteria was scheduled to happen directly following the workout at Chick-Fil-A on Peace Haven. \u00a0Unfortunately, if this is the first you are hearing of it, you probably missed it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to Palin, Zima had the Q at I.S. this morning.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>FNGs:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chris Wolf is college \u201cfriend\u201d of Lambchop\u2019s M. \u00a0Unfortunately Mr. Wolf attended NC State and is quite the avid fan, but we didn\u2019t hold it against him. \u00a0He works in Raleigh and has a couple of dogs. Some ideas that circulated were something from Twilight (i.e. full moons) or the direwolves\u2019 names from Game of Thrones. \u00a0Teen Wolf was thrown out there too. There was even a motion on the table to hijack a former F3 guy\u2019s name, Ramses. Ultimately we came around to Belfort, from Wolf of Wall Street &#8211; Leo\u2019s character for those who haven\u2019t seen it in a while. \u00a0Welcome Belfort.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lambchop met Will Derrickson (sorry, the last name did not come through well on the recording) at Belfort\u2019s wedding a few years ago. \u00a0He works in the construction industry in Winston and just had a baby (side note, how the heck did his wife let him come out to a beatdown?) who has a Lord of the Rings name. \u00a0His wife is British. Immediate ideas were something from wedding crashers, \u201cAnchor\u201d or \u201cChain\u201d for the baby\/British\/citizenship thing, or some female British royalty titles. However, once Brexit was shouted out, it was game over. \u00a0Welcome Brexit. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Prayers:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cherry Pie had to de-HC after an unexpected medical procedure yesterday to wire his trap shut (or at least that\u2019s how YHC understood it). \u00a0Anyway, he said he\u2019ll be fine for his upcoming Qs next week. Funny how fast that recovery is.
