Day wasn&#8217;t a day off for 16 of the Dash&#8217;s finest pax.\u00a0 A little (OK, a lot) of rain, nor YHC as Q, dissuaded this crew from posting at The Estate for a subtly themed beatdown.\u00a0 Not subtle on the shoulders, though.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warm-o-rama<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SSHs, 5 burpees since Chisel was late, arm swirly things forward and back, Abe Vigodas, Whirly-looked-fine-at-Bluto&#8217;s-party-but-evidently-still-has-the-clap.\u00a0 Maybe some Imperial Walkers.\u00a0 Can&#8217;t remember, but YHC usually does those, too.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tha Thangs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pax moseyed down the hill then to the right around the lower green towards Reynolda House.\u00a0 We paused at the frequently overlooked parking lot on the left to start our first &#8220;presidential&#8221; set.<\/p>\n<p><strong>T &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Twists, Russian x 45 IC (very Russian)<\/p>\n<p>Moseyed to median by the main entrance for<\/p>\n<p><strong>R &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Rocky Balboas x 45 IC<\/p>\n<p>Moseyed past Pure Barre to the bridge for<\/p>\n<p><strong>U &#8211; <\/strong>Up Straddle Hops x 23 IC\u00a0 L, x 22 IC R<\/p>\n<p>Moseyed to base of the hill, pausing by the spa for<\/p>\n<p><strong>M &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Monkey Humpers x 10 IC, then 35 OYO since YHC realized that 45 IC Monkey Humpers is the worst idea ever.<\/p>\n<p>Moseyed up the hill to the courtyard for<\/p>\n<p><strong>P &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>People&#8217;s Chair with Airpresses, x 45 IC<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Staying in the courtyard, we shifted our attention to the 16th U.S. President, Abraham Lincoln.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Alternating shoulder taps, x 16 IC<\/p>\n<p>Pax partnered up for<\/p>\n<p><strong>B &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Booyah merkins, x 16<\/p>\n<p><strong>E &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Elbow plank, x 16 count IC<\/p>\n<p>Dear Lord, YHC was tired of hearing himself calling out cadence.\u00a0 Balco agreed, so we moseyed to the Village Tavern parking lot for the next Thang.<\/p>\n<p>FDR was the longest-serving U.S. President, having been elected four times.\u00a0 So, a four corners escalator around the parking lot was in order.<\/p>\n<p>Corner 1: 10 merkins<br \/>\nCorner 2: 10 merkins, 20 air claps<br \/>\nCorner 3: 10 merkins, 20 air claps, 30 plank jacks<br \/>\nCorner 4:\u00a010 merkins, 20 air claps, 30 plank jacks, 40 Jack Reachers<\/p>\n<p>Since FDR completed three of his four terms, we repeatoed this 3x.\u00a0 The pax loved it and didn&#8217;t wish for new exercises at all.<\/p>\n<p>We had a little time left, so we did some parking space DB drills followed by parking space Apollo Creeds.<\/p>\n<p>YHC discovered that we stayed mostly dry throughout, so we returned to the start to remedy that with Mary&#8217;s help.<\/p>\n<p>LBCs, mutton crunches, heels to heaven, box cutters, and penguin crunches.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FIN.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>COT<br \/>\n<\/strong>YHC took us out.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer requests<\/strong><br \/>\nNone spoken.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Announcements<\/strong><br \/>\nNone spoken.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NMM<br \/>\n<\/strong>When Presidents&#8217; Day began, it was primarily a celebration of George Washington.\u00a0 YHC bypassed him for any acronyms since exercises that begin with &#8220;e&#8221; are few and far between and doing something with &#8220;Washington&#8221;
