Lucky Sevens<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Date:&nbsp; January 24,\n2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pax:&nbsp; Root Canal,\nZima, Honey Badger, Little Piggy, Dr. Seuss, Snooki, Greenspan (QIC)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>YHC had been looking at the weather forecast since Monday,\nunbelieving that another monsoon would coincide with Q honors at WIB (again).&nbsp; YHC began making contingency plans to\nreinvade the Piedmont Plaza parking deck should the forecast hold.&nbsp; The forecast did not deviate.&nbsp; The forecast was accurate.&nbsp; It was very wet and windy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>YHC talked with Peace Maker (PM) at FlyWheel yesterday.&nbsp; PM encouraged YHC that shared experiences in\nadverse conditions, e.g. workouts in terrible weather, can have tremendously\npositive effects on group dynamics.&nbsp; YHC\ntrusts that PM knows what he is talking about since it is his profession and\ndecided that, rain or not, the original plan of migrating this week\u2019s\ninstallment of WIB to Moore Elementary would hold.&nbsp; YHC posted the plan to the Twitter late\nWednesday evening.&nbsp; Seven ironmen showed\nup, got stronger together, and, just maybe, grew in other ways as well<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Warmarama (IC):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>SSHs x \u2018a lot\u2019 while YHC told the story of why\nwe were still meeting at Moore despite the weather<\/li><li>Forward ASTs x 10<\/li><li>Backward ASTs x 10<\/li><li>Whirly\u2019s clap x 10<\/li><li>Mountain Climbers x 10<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Thang:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A lap around the sidewalks bordering Moore, down the hill to\nthe bus parking lot, around the building to the covered awning where the pax\nfound the box with instructions laying at a pillar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Round 1:&nbsp; All 7 Reps<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Hand-release burpees<\/li><li>Wojo jump shots<\/li><li>Pull ups<\/li><li>Dan Taylor Squats (Deep squat + R&amp;L leg\nlunges)<\/li><li>Imperial Walkers<\/li><li>Prisoner squats + merkin<\/li><li>WWIIs<\/li><li>Repeat lap around the borders of school.&nbsp; ~.4 mile<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Round 2:&nbsp; Repeat first\nround of exercises, adding one rep (total of eight) to each exercise and add\noverhead claps<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Round 3:&nbsp; Repeat second\nround of exercises, adding one rep (total of nine) to each exercise and add\nunassisted stand ups (or pull a Snooki and do something completely amazing)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Round 4:&nbsp; Repeat third\nround of exercises, adding one rep (total of ten) to each exercise and add arm\nswirlies, forwards and backwards<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Round 5:&nbsp; Repeat fourth\nround of exercises, adding one rep (total of eleven) to each exercise and add hand-clap\nburpees<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><del>Round 6:&nbsp; Repeat fifth round of exercises, adding one rep (total of twelve) to each exercise and add hillbillies<\/del><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><del>Round 7:&nbsp; Repeat sixth round of exercises, adding one rep (total of twelve) to each exercise and add American Hammers<\/del><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The End.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Total Mileage:&nbsp; 2 &lt;= x &lt;= 2.75 miles, although a couple got EC for RIROs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>COT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Announcements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>No announcements.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer Requests:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Thistle:&nbsp;\nRecovering from a cold<\/li><li>Burlap\u2019s family mourning the loss of his mother<\/li><li>Palin after testing of his plumbing this week<\/li><li>Keith Vest, BooBoo\u2019s brother in law, undergoing\nchemo;<\/li><li>YHC\u2019s father, who begins radiation and chemo on\n12\/26;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>YHC took us out with prayers to Jesus to lead us to deeper fellowship with Him and one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NMM:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All seven pax completed four rounds, a few completed\nfive.&nbsp; All are #Respects, regardless of\nage.&nbsp; The weather was honestly worse than\nYHC anticipated, but it did not hinder the group from getting after it.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Seuss and Snooki had to bolt before CoT due to work commitments, but both left an imprint of their fitness upon YHC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the unassisted stand ups, Snooki lay on his back and\nessentially did a spring from his back to his feet and stood up.&nbsp; a ninja warrior.&nbsp; YHC is glad that the proximity to his house\nwas enough to get Snooki back out to WIB.&nbsp;\nHe\u2019s becoming a regular and hasn\u2019t gone to the prior week\u2019s AO yet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Little Piggy got some EC by doing a RIRO.&nbsp; He also pounded out the reps with apparent ease.&nbsp; Strong is getting stronger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Honey Badger, as well, put the reps to bed.&nbsp; His form on the Dan Taylor squats was notably\nprecise.&nbsp; Good to see him at WIB again\nafter VG\u2019s bear crawl burpees in December [shudders].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Root Canal kept YHC company throughout with his usual\nencouragement.&nbsp; He left his alter-ego,\nDr. Toot, at home this morning, but the burners were still on as he motored\naround the AO.&nbsp; He is a Respect\u2019s\nRespect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zima crushed, as usual.&nbsp;\nHe was unusually quiet, although it could be that he was so far ahead\nthat YHC couldn\u2019t hear him.&nbsp; Or, it could\nbe that he missed Cherry Pie.&nbsp; Zima did\npay YHC a flattering compliment that \u201cYou [YHC] are a terrible person.\u201d&nbsp; YHC\u2019s aspires to Zima\u2019s fitness and\nappreciates his \u2018take that hill\u2019 demeanor, regardless of conditions.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There had been discussion (mostly Snooki questions) at WIB\nthe prior week of what the \u2018B\u2019 in WIB stood for, whether \u2018bag\u2019 or \u2018box\u2019.&nbsp; To avoid any additional confusion, YHC\nbrought the box with exercises in a garbage bag to the itinerant AO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>YHC is thankful to Thistle for the opportunity to lead again\nand for the men who came out.&nbsp;
