January 8<sup>th<\/sup>, 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pax:&nbsp; Total Recall\n(IR), Valdez, Boo Boo, Sac, Little Piggy, Wiggles, Honey Badger (WB) Manscape\n(WD), Mr. Hand, Balco, Greenspan (QIC)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ideal weather conditions greeted eleven pax for this week\u2019s\ninstallment of Redline.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Warmarama (IC):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Two laps around the track, one with high knees\nand butt kickers on the straights.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Thang:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We moseyed from the track to the corner of Northwest (NW)\nBoulevard and Reynolda.&nbsp; The pax were\ninstructed that we would run in various directions for various lengths of time.&nbsp; Lassie for the six or monkey hump at the home\nintersection.&nbsp; It went like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Run hard from Reynolda towards Hawthorne along\nNW for 30 seconds; mosey back to the intersection.<\/li><li>Run hard from NW towards Robinhood along Reynolda\nfor 30 seconds; mosey back to the intersection.<\/li><li>Run hard from Reynolda towards Broad along NW\nfor 30 seconds; mosey back to the intersection.<\/li><li>Run hard from NW along Reynolda, towards West\nEnd, and up Pilot View for 30 seconds; mosey back to the intersection.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Repeato at 60, 90, and <del>120 <\/del>seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Huddle at the bottom of Pilot View following the 90 second\ninterval and mosey home together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FIN!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Total mileage:  ~4.5 miles<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>COT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Announcements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Manscape is still looking for a new Redline site Q to emerge.&nbsp; Redline has a great AO and format.<\/li><li>NC State and North Carolina will be engaged in basketball competition tonight.&nbsp; YHC made a mocking joke regarding NC State still fielding a team.&nbsp; Cobains, as I failed to recognize that the Wolfpups are only a few spots in the AP poll behind the Tar Heels.&nbsp; Balco suggested that YHC was thinking of Wake Forest.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer Requests:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Burlap\u2019s family as his father died on Sunday;<\/li><li>Keith Vest, BooBoo\u2019s brother in law, undergoing\nchemo;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>YHC took us out with prayers offered up for the Lord to make\nlevel paths for our feet as we go throughout our daily responsibilities, to take\nus beyond the first two Fs to the third F, and to be on the lookout for those\nwho are lonely.&nbsp; Also prayers for TR\u2019s\ninjury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NMM:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Great morning to be with these men.&nbsp; We didn\u2019t get to the 120 second interval, but really pushed ourselves through the 90 seconds.&nbsp; We stayed together for the most part, and YHC never saw anyone need to take the monkey humping option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good workout plan that enabled the pax to push themselves as\nmuch as they desired without getting separated; terrible selection of\nintersection. &nbsp;Reynolda and NW is\napparently the epicenter of the Business 40 detour, and we spent the morning\npracticing safety by staying on the sidewalks (except for the time when YHC\nprematurely instructed the pax to cross to a non-sidewalked side of NW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It took YHC a while to realize the consistent pattern of\nheavy traffic the home intersection presented.&nbsp;\nBalco was there from the first round.&nbsp;\nHe moved away from the intersection at his normal rapid clip throughout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TR went down with a tight back during the 60 second interval\nbetween Reynolda and Hawthorne.&nbsp; Hoping\nfor a quick recovery.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Manscape was in normal form, a man of consistency.&nbsp; Wash, rinse, repeat.&nbsp; Likewise with Mr. Hand, Plunger, and Boo\nBoo.&nbsp; If you didn\u2019t know, Mr. Hand leads\na spin class at the Y at 5:30(?) am.&nbsp; YHC\nforgets the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sac was up front pulling the group.&nbsp; #Fasthole.&nbsp;\nSac and YHC both expressed relief when time expired on the 90 second\nround up Pilot View.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good to meet Wiggles for the first time and to see Honey Badger\nagain.&nbsp; Honey Badger supplanted Sac and\nLittle Piggy from War Baby status.&nbsp; Hope\nto see you guys around more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Little Piggy has some wheels.&nbsp; Planning some RIROs with him in the near\nfuture to Hanes Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>YHC always enjoys running with Valdez.&nbsp; Good chat with him during the warm up about the\nshellacking Clemson put on \u2018Bama last night.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was an honor, gentlemen.&nbsp;\nManscape, TR took the keys home with him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Title: Detour!
