YHC rolled into Bailey park around 0520 half expecting nobody to post, but lo and behold Post Hole was sitting in his truck ready for some UA action. As the minute hand creeped closer to due south, a few more appeared and we had the makings of a solid crew. There were whispers of a Qtiny (Q + mutiny, you get the picture) that were propagated by Palin’s overwhelming desire to stay dry, thus YHC’s plan to visit spots all around town was quickly found to be out of favor with the PAX. So YHC did a few recalculations and away we went, leaving Blue Steel behind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The MC started off hot as soon as Palin got out of the car. “I was going to post to Tractors but I figured whoever was going to Q here would be sensible and use parking decks” or something like that. Fully acknowledging his wimpiness, he still lobbied\/bullied other pax to take up his position and thus my plan for the morning was thrown out the window. I’ll have to let @Whirly pull strings to get me to Q again on a drier morning.
– Speaking of Whirly, he was noticeably absent after a brilliantly grueling Q last week followed by a clever mind game to get me to fill in the vacancy for this week.
– Not much MC during the Dora – pax were crushing it
– Mosey to foothills was accompanied by Root Canal and Palin noticing a lot of dry places to stop and do exercises.
– Pax ran close to 2 miles this morning, accounting for the DORA portion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– If you haven’t heard about the F3\/FiA holiday bonanza tomorrow night, I’d be shocked. It’s been more advertised than Shmedfest…speaking of BOLO for Shmedfest 2019 info it should be coming soon. It’s still not too late to RSVP to Bluto, $10\/person, no 2.0s.
– Wobegon has been posting on Twitter about the Farm Run at Crossnore this Sunday, 5k race supporting the Piedmont Land Conservancy. Registration includes a long sleeve tee and a beer\u2026as I did the research I’m now considering doing it. You should too.
– YHC took us out with thanks for shelter and comfort, and prayers for God to help those without find both during the holidays. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
