WIB is, in YHC\u2019s opinion, the \u201cpremier\u201d DashPax workout. It provides an opportunity for pushing one-self as much as one desires, aspires, & perspires, and mixes comparable amounts of running (YHC\u2019s relative strength) and bootcamp (not YHC\u2019s strength) exercises. Thistle provided YHC with the honor of Qing this week\u2019s installment. But the weather\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What originally started out as a plan at Moore Elementary involving many, many pullups evolved into a Grand Prix race between Zima and Snooki in the Piedmont Plaza parking deck while the rest of us participated in a NASCAR-style circuit through the AO, meaning \u201cjust turn left at each corner\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A mild, abbreviated disclaimer was whispered, and we started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Warmarama (IC):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Let\u2019s go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Thang:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We entered the parking deck. Snooki had assisted YHC with dispersing Weinkes to the corners of the three lower levels of the deck prior to the arrival of the other pax to guide them in the bootcamp aspect of the workout. At each passage of the entrance to the deck, pax were to run to Miller Street and back. Hence:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Everyone completed 4+ circuits. We moseyed to Miller Street one last time and then back to the launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n COT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Announcements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Prayer Requests:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n YHC took us out echoing Thistle\u2019s good word to love on that who do not experience the joy of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n NMM:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It was good to be with these men, these friends,\nparticularly after the snowfall canceled the early-week workouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Zima and Snooki pushed each other throughout, step for step. YHC managed to stay on the same parking deck level as them for the majority of the workout and overhead much discussion about whether Zima needs an inhaler. YHC is also thankful for the fellowship with and help from Snooki in preparing the AO. YHC hopes he finds his way back to a Thursday workout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Palin, who finished 3rd<\/sup> in his age group in the Mistletoe 5k two weeks past(!), was strong as usual. He\u2019s got the mental edge that YHC envies. He also has a belt buckle, thankfully. Thistle encouraged others throughout. YHC doesn\u2019t understand Zima\u2019s critique that Thistle runs his mouth all the time. YHC thinks that\u2019s another one of Zima\u2019s tools to push himself into superhuman status. Thistle was also thankful that the increment on the hand-release burpee jacks was only one for each circuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s been said before, but Burlap and Root Canal are what\nYHC aspires to be when YHC grows up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n YHC is thankful to Thistle for the opportunity to lead. YHC recruited Snooki to look for the lost keys in the deck.
