PAX moseyed and fellowshipped their way down 3rd<\/sup> Street to the Long Branch Trail, stopping at each light for 10 squats, 10 merkins, and 10 LBC\u2019s.\u00a0 Downhill, very fun.<\/p>\n Once at the Trail, we commenced to perform 11\u2019s. Run\u201410 burpees\u2014Run\u20141 Frogger.\u00a0 Repeat with descending\/ascending counts (9\/2, 8\/3\u20261\/10).\u00a0 The mumblechatter seemed to come to a screeching halt once the burpees began.\u00a0 Again, very fun.<\/p>\n PAX did some monkey humpers and LBC\u2019s before finishing the last round together.<\/p>\n Mosey back up 3rd<\/sup> (yea, its\u2019 uphill this time) with some Jack Reachers and hip-slap merkins along the way.<\/p>\n Detour to the amphitheater for some stair circuits. Working your way around the bowl, perform 10 hip-slap merkins at the top and 10 jump squats at the bottom\u20267 flights?\u00a0 Run back to the beginning and repeato.\u00a0 Then, finish together.\u00a0 Very, very fun.<\/p>\n Head to parking lot. Do some CDDs and something else YHC can\u2019t remember while YHC got the recording device.<\/p>\n Moleskine\/Announcements<\/u><\/p>\n Turning to a more serious note. Spicoli attended the vigil at the WS synagogue last night.\u00a0 He reminded us that there is a lot of bad stuff going on in our nation right now.\u00a0 Then, the discussion began.<\/p>\n YHC editorial: Sorry, men, but it is just not enough to \u201cdenounce\u201d these actions.\u00a0 I am not sure how much risk you are really taking by saying \u201cthis man that murdered 11 people because they were Jews is something this wrong.\u201d\u00a0 No kidding.\u00a0 Nope\u2014we have GOT to do more.\u00a0 I am not sure what it looks like, but F3 is about ACTION.\u00a0 We get up in the cold, dark gloom every day and hit the pavement, playgrounds, rock piles, etc.\u00a0 That is action. Now, we have got to figure out how to channel this action to make this world\u2014our world\u2014a better place and get rid of all of this evil.<\/p>\n I hope we can all continue to disagree with each other. That is how you get the best answers\u2014by having civil discussions about the pros\/cons of issues, whether that is gun control, immigration, prayer in school, teacher pay, or health care.\u00a0 Why can\u2019t we just have these discussions with a bit of humility, love, and respect?<\/p>\n Yes, we are called to take action. Several PAX today mentioned that we are must show love for each other.\u00a0 And, if we see hatred (or even strong dislike), we MUST step in.\u00a0 That\u2019s what we do\u2014step in.\u00a0 Not just \u201cdenounce it.\u201d<\/p>\n I am not sure what else needs to be done, but we are in very choppy waters. So, my charge to you is to: vote, show love, step in, be respectful, have some humility (it ain\u2019t about you), reach across, look for differing opinions, embrace others, have fun.<\/p>\n Sorry for the diatribe.
