{"id":6659,"date":"2018-10-20T09:26:39","date_gmt":"2018-10-20T13:26:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/?p=6659"},"modified":"2018-10-20T09:26:39","modified_gmt":"2018-10-20T13:26:39","slug":"wib-3-pax-killed-it-and-yhc-tagged-along","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/2018\/10\/wib-3-pax-killed-it-and-yhc-tagged-along\/","title":{"rendered":"WIB &#8211; 3 PAX killed it and YHC tagged along"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Great morning with 3 high impact men that made me better.\u00a0 Quick BB to let you know we endured pain together.<\/p>\n<p>We met at Hanes Park and moseyed over to Joymongers&#8217; parking lot for our Warmarama &#8211; included in our WAR was the usual SSH.. regime and a couple of exercises to stretch out our legs before some running.<\/p>\n<p>The Q had seen the extensive work done on an area to the right as you ascend Broad toward downtown at 7th Street.\u00a0 I now look at the world through a lens of &#8220;we could have a cool F3 workout there&#8221;, so a simple plan was hatched.\u00a0 I forget how far we ran total, but it was sufficient.<\/p>\n<p>Our .4 mile loop up the newly paved hill that is called West End Blvd? and back down Broad was curvy and steep.\u00a0 We stopped at points on the uphill to complete 4 exercises.\u00a0 Starting with 5 burpees at the base for each loop and adding 10 merkins, 10 juanitas? and 10 American Hammers at strategic points along the way.\u00a0 We increased each of the last 3 exercises by 5 with each loop &#8211; I think we got to 30, but I was in serious O2 debt.<\/p>\n<p>Cherry Pie killed it as usual and Greenspan stayed back until he could not continue to go that slowly.\u00a0 Root Canal and YHC ended together, only because he is way nicer and loyal than I am.\u00a0 These men are getting stronger every day.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In fact, Greenspan (uncharacteristically) told us of his recent 5K PR and set his goal to bring down #WalterWhite.\u00a0 Greenspan talking smack is kinda like Mother Teresa bragging about all the good work she has done.<\/li>\n<li>Cherry Pie is agonizingly nice.\u00a0 I was spared hearing his sincere words of encouragement only because he was so far out of sight and earshot.<\/li>\n<li>Root Canal has upped his game &#8211; his consistency to F3 and conquering the fartsack demon is encouraging and providing verifiable results.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>CoT:<\/p>\n<p>YHC took us out full of thanks and gratitude for being with men who encourage me and lift my eyes to see our world with love and compassion.\u00a0 I am inspired to be a better man because of each of you.\u00a0 Thanks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Great morning with 3 high impact men that made me better.\u00a0 Quick BB to let you know we endured pain together.
