Seven pax responded to the Q’s request for help making sure that the streets of Ardmore were cleared of storm debris, departing from Moore Elementary at the appointed time of 0645.<\/p>\n

The Thang<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

We traversed the perimeter of Ardmore, looking for opportunities to remove heavy debris from the streets.\u00a0 In reality, we picked up about 15 sticks along the ~5.8 mile route.\u00a0 TBT is below:<\/p>\n

      We had great fellowship along the way.\u00a0 The route proved to be about 15 minutes longer than allowed.\u00a0 Much graciousness was extended to the Q by the pax for the late return.\u00a0 Several pax commented on their surprise at the steepness of some of the streets, particularly on Corona and Cherokee.\u00a0 There also seemed to be general agreement that the weather was not nearly as nasty as expected or hoped for.\u00a0 Some of the topics of conversation included the political atmosphere at Wake Forest, Title IX regulations, geologic exploration and consultancy, job\/career diversity in a financial crisis, pax\u2019s first F3 workout, the historical chronology of neighborhood development west of downtown (West End, Ardmore, Boona Vista was the accepted order of development), EconTalk podcast, and an infamous F3 workout held in Toto\u2019s backyard one morning.\u00a0 Great times!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
