A discrepancy in the marketplace you might say. YHC saw it. It was all I could do not to pounce on it at that moment. But I passed. Later in the day the feeling of regret rushed over me. \u00a0Surely a Mayhem regular had already stepped up by now. \u00a0However, to my delight it was still available. 20 Pax, one a FNG, endured a K.I.S.S. beat down that went kind of sort of like this\u2026\u2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warm \u2013 O Rama<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SSH IC X 20<\/li>\n<li>IST IC X 15<\/li>\n<li>Whirly w\/ Clap IC X 15<\/li>\n<li>10 Burpees OYO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Thang<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Do the following reps of each calisthenics in descending order and run to end of bus lot and back<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 Squat<\/li>\n<li>40 Jack Reacher<\/li>\n<li>30 Low Flutter<\/li>\n<li>20 Merkin<\/li>\n<li>10 Burpee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Repeat-O 4 times<\/p>\n<p>Do the following calisthenics at each of the first 3 light poles along the bus lot\u00a0 in laddered reps 5\/10\/15\/10\/5<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>LBC<\/li>\n<li>CCD<\/li>\n<li>Freddie Mercs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Repeat-O the 50\/40\/30\/20\/10 calisthenics\u2026 you know\u2026.for fun!<\/p>\n<p>Popcorn Mary<\/p>\n<p>Fin<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lots of MC about the creativity of this beat down, or the lack there of. YHC prefers to keep his beat down simple, focused and targeted to the whole body. Plus it is much easier to explain to the Pax in the gloom and among the MC. Below is the breakdown of the total reps by calisthenics.<\/p>\n<p>250 Squats<\/p>\n<p>200 Jack Reachers<\/p>\n<p>150 Low Flutters (not including Burns\u2019 popcorn Mary<\/p>\n<p>100 Merkins<\/p>\n<p>50 Burpees<\/p>\n<p>45 LBCS<\/p>\n<p>45 Carolina Dry Docs<\/p>\n<p><u>45 Freddie Mercury<\/u><\/p>\n<p>885 Total Calisthenic Reps &#8211; Add in the Warm-o-Rama and Popcorn Mary and the Pax completed over <strong>1000 Total Calisthenic Reps<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Naked-Man Moleskin<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spam did an excellent job with disclaimer this AM!<\/li>\n<li>A few in town Pax out in the Burbs this morning, YHC would like to think it was because he was on Q but more than likely it was the beers Plunger bought last night.<\/li>\n<li>First time YHC has met Burns, TPS, and Turnover, dudes were getting after it this morning.<\/li>\n<li>Mongoose was there\u2026he even cracked a smile\u2026\u2026.twice!<\/li>\n<li>It was fun watching Zima chase Litterbox all morning<\/li>\n<li>Life Goals \u2013 To be in as good of shape as Ink Spot at his age, that Guy is a beast!<\/li>\n<li>Cheerio, thanks for riding out with me so I wouldn\u2019t get lost!<\/li>\n<li>Slush Puppy, FNG Dan Obergell, was brought out by Plunger. Slush Puppy has helped with Shmedfest over the years with his side gig as the Margarita Man. He is recovering from a recent heart attack and quadruple bypass surgery. Hazer came up with 7 names (that dude is super creative). While a couple names battled it out. In the end Slush Puppy prevailed. Let\u2019s be honest. Out in public no one wants to introduce their wife to Salty Rim.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Announcements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shmedfest 14 Saturday, August 25<sup>th<\/sup> 4 Pm \u2013 10 PM.
