4\/5th of a mile option<\/a><\/p>\nBoth routes start from the parking lot of Yadkin River boat launch just west of main entrance to Tanglewood Park.<\/p>\n
Turn by Turn:<\/p>\n
Launch from parking lot to horse\/bike trail that runs parallel to HWY 158<\/p>\n
Turn right off of trail into main entrance of Tanglewood.<\/p>\n
Turn left onto rd toward visitor center to connect with bike\/walking paved path.<\/p>\n
Follow paved path (not main road) to horse stables<\/p>\n
Turn right off of path and Take a left on to main road up AND<\/strong><\/em> around bed and breakfast<\/p>\nTake a left at bottom of B&B road<\/p>\n
Turn Right onto River Birch Creek<\/p>\n
For 3’ish mile option:<\/strong><\/p>\nwhen you get to the bottom of the hill at the road for BMX track across from pond, take an immediate right on to singletrack trail<\/p>\n
When you get to the opening of trail turn North (or right) and follow the trail closest to the Yadkin River back to parking lot.<\/p>\n
For the longer loop:<\/strong><\/p>\nwhen you get to the bottom of the hill at the road for BMX track across from pond, stay on the gravel road towards the BMX track.<\/p>\n
When you get out of the woods take a right on path towards the Yadkin River going around the large power line support structure<\/p>\n
Turn North (or right) on Yadkin River trail head and Follow the trail closest to the Yadkin River back to parking lot.<\/p>\n
