On a cool, foggy Monday morning, 8 pax posted to the Outhouse to find out more about the “most famous boat of all time”. \u00a0As I exited the car, 7 of the pax had already gathered and were discussing which boat from history we could be learning about today. \u00a0No correct answers were stated. \u00a0At 529, the Red Eye minivan came flying in the parking. \u00a0530, the fun began.<\/p>\n

pick up a brick the back of my car as we moseyed to the playground. \u00a0Drop the brick off at the base of the boat, and mosey around the path back to the grass. \u00a02 cones were place ~40 yards from the boat; this is the starting line. the theme was then announced to the pax – today, we reenact Noah’s Ark. \u00a0Several pax attempted to leave, but elected to stay. \u00a0we would line up \u00a0with a partner at the cones, and move like a specific animal up to the boat. \u00a0once at the boat, pax would perform 40 exercises (in pairs) to get onto the boat. once on the boat, we spent 40 days (40 seconds) in the wall sit position and 40 nights (40 seconds) resting in the elbow plank. \u00a0Once we had completed the 40 days and nights, animals were allowed to leave the boat via the slide. \u00a0Run back to the cones and another animal was called……Repeato.<\/p>\n
Animals: \u00a0Bear Crawl, Crab Walk, Duck Walk. \u00a0for the final, pairs were allowed to choose between Frog Hops, Alligator Crawl, and Monkey Walk.<\/p>\n
Exercises at the base of the Ark:<\/p>\n
N – no cross dolly – low dolly with arms out wide<\/p>\n
O – One Calls – Lexicon – partner merkin – hand release with bouya both hands at the top<\/p>\n
A – Alternating Lunges<\/p>\n
H – Hot Potato – Like a WWII with partners feet together, take 2 bricks overhead on the way down and pass them to partner at the top.<\/p>\n

Spam was on point this morning…not sure if he had some coffee not the way in, but he should do it again! \u00a0lots of water on the slide….thank you to the 3 pax that went first and dried it up for everyone else. \u00a0Great to see Interference out there again – he has one good foot and was still crushing it. \u00a0Pax were not excited about the alternative modes of transportation and no one elected the alligator crawl (maybe next time).<\/p>\n
