47 strong PAX converged on a balmy July morning for the 242nd Birthday Celebration of the ol’ US of A!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Van Pelt did something awful called the Beast.\u00a0 We essentially did suicides with such exercises as Merkins, Off the Ground Merkins, Burpees, Mtn Climbers and 2 others that escape my memory.<\/p>\n
Cobra didn’t exactly ingratiate himself with the Pax either, leading us up the Intimidator 3 times (4 times for the fastest holes), doing Merkins at the top of each of 3 stops and Mtn Climbers (I think) at the bottom.\u00a0 We then did some calisthenics involving some sort of lateral hopping up to and down from a sidewalk – The Baron would not participate citing its injurious nature.\u00a0 Did some SSH, Mtn Climbers, perhaps some Peter Parkers.<\/p>\n
YHC led the stationary portion of the workout with increasing numbers of chest, leg and abdominal exercises (Merkins, Squats, LBCs, Dips, Lunges and WWII situps).\u00a0 We nearly achieved 242 reps each of chest, leg and ab exercises, but sadly did not reach 18 or 20.\u00a0 Our country is 242 years old today.<\/p>\n

Van Pelt, Cobra and YHC took us out in prayer.<\/p>\n
