{"id":5363,"date":"2018-06-22T10:43:45","date_gmt":"2018-06-22T14:43:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/?p=5363"},"modified":"2018-06-22T10:43:45","modified_gmt":"2018-06-22T14:43:45","slug":"runners-yes-literary-geniuses-not-so-much","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/2018\/06\/runners-yes-literary-geniuses-not-so-much\/","title":{"rendered":"Runners yes, Literary Geniuses, not so much&#8230;."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>27 Men took on either the OG or Tractor\u2019s Route this morning.\u00a0 An overnight storm made the gloom more gloomy and even more sauna like if that is possible.<\/p>\n<p>OG and Tractor routes were counter rotating in the hopes that there would be an opportunity to wave to other co-idiots along the way.\u00a0 Some of that may have happened.<\/p>\n<p>YHC launched at 5:15 but was glad to quickly circle back to pick up a late arriving Cheerio.\u00a0 We talked our way down to a 9:30 pace, got passed by everyone, several PAX checked to be sure we were \u201call right,\u201d yep we were, just stirring in a bit more of the second F than usual.\u00a0 Thanks Cheerio for the company!<\/p>\n<p>We welcomed FNG \u201cBubbles.\u201d\u00a0 In a classic F3 naming, he provided little information to work off of (I think he was on to us\u2026) Favorite sports team \u201cnone,\u201d favorite movie, &#8220;don\u2019t have one,\u201d favorite hobby, \u201crunning,\u201d but we finally got him to tell us his favorite book.\u00a0 \u201cShantaram\u201d which YHC knew was<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;a 2003 novel by Gregory David Roberts, in which a convicted Australian bank robber and heroin addict who escaped from Pentridge Prison flees to India.
