Yesterday witnessed the epic 11th French Open Title for Rafael Nadal. It was also his 17th Grand Slam title. \u00a0Dominic Thiem put up a valiant effort, but was no match falling in straight sets 6-4, 6-3, 6-2. \u00a0No shame in that.<\/p>\n
To honor this incredible achievement, we did the following:<\/p>\n
Warm-o-Rama<\/p>\n
SSH, over head claps, whirly has the clap, Abe vigoda, seal claps, squats. All IC either 11 or 17 reps each.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Mosey over to the tennis courts for suicides. \u00a0We would perform 3 sets of suicides, one for each set won yesterday by Nadal. At the beginning and in between sets we would run one lap around the perimeter of the courts. \u00a0Thus, we did:<\/p>\n
Set 1: \u00a0lap around perimeter, normal suicides, backward suicides, facing forward suicides and facing backward suicides. Then 4 burpees to represent number of games won by Thiem in first set<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Set 2: \u00a0lap around perimeter, apollo creed facing net, apollo creed facing parking lot, kariokee facing net, kariokee facing parking lot. \u00a0Then 3 burpeees for the \u00a0number of games won by Thiem in second set.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Set 3: \u00a0lap around perimeter, high knee suicides, butt kicker, toy solider, lunge walk. \u00a0Then 2 burpees for number of games won by Thiem in third set.<\/p>\n

Time to collect the hardware!<\/p>\n
Mosey to small rock pile behind the courts. \u00a0Grab 2 smallish rocks.<\/p>\n
Curls, Overhead press, front arm raises, side arm raises \u00a0All X11 all IC. \u00a0Nadal has also won three other tournaments 11 times including Barcelona and Madrid opens.<\/p>\n
Mosey to large rock pile by sidewalk. \u00a0Find a more challenging rock…just not a copperhead snake! \u00a0Or dog poop.<\/p>\n
Curls x 11 IC – drop rock and run to SS Linebach and return<\/p>\n
Bent over row x 11 IC – run to SS Linebach and back.<\/p>\n
Overhead press x 17 IC – to SS Libebach and back<\/p>\n
Skullcrushers x 20 IC – Because Roger Federer has 20 GS titles! \u00a0Return rocks and Mosey back to parking lot for 30 seconds of Mary.<\/p>\n
