It was with much pleasure and gusto that YHC returned to Flatline with keys in hand, ready to offer up a non-stop, high-tempo beatdown the likes of which 6 unsuspecting early-risers hadn’t seen since last week. The cooler temps in the low 60s (almost chilly enough for Root Canal to wear pants), and humidity around 30%, made for near-ideal weather for a downtown Julie Brown sufferfest.<\/div>\n

Pita arrived early and observed YHC running in to the parking lot at 0525. This apparently concerned him, with YHC responding to rapid-fire series of questions about his whereabouts over the last five minutes, and set an ominous tone for the next 5 minutes. Litter Box pulled in bright-eyed and bushy-tailed with Schnitzel in the passenger seat, both of whose combined ages were less than our two most “mature” workout partners this morning.<\/div>\n

At 0530 on the dot we began the mosey, with no stopping for 45 minutes and 3 seconds (bonus!).<\/div>\n

                  • Root Canal was obsessed with YHC’s hair this morning, as if he was trying to rile me up to make the beatdown more difficult. Hopefully it was adequate for him without any modifications.<\/li>\n
                  • There was quite a bit of discussion about Thistle having to skip his morning walk at Arbor Acres later this morning due to the pain suffered during the beatdown. He was looking forward to naptime.<\/li>\n
                  • I don’t think Litter Box even worked up a sweat. For a while he was leading YHC, and I considered letting him take over. That would have been a bad idea.<\/li>\n
                  • Good work by Schnitzel. Handled Flatline like a pro. Keep posting!<\/li>\n
